The theme this time around is continuous tricks. You must do at least twocontinuous trick. For the purposes of this round, a continuous trick is one that is repeated at least 3 times in succession, without a trick inbetween. For example, TA > TA > TA or Bak > Bak > Bak.

Continuous Charges or Passes cannot be used as your continuous trick (though you can still include them in the combo).

Anyone who fails to include two continuous tricks for at least three repetitions will simply fofeit their battle.

Could you do something like continuous double charge or continuous fake double? Or not since they are really just a combination of 2 tricks?

But you can do continuous Fake Doubles if you like.

If you're not sure if you can do it, then ask. I'm allowing all the tricks that cannot be easily simplified into others (such as Extended TA, Devil's/Demon's stuff etc).

don't you think this might be a little tough for intermediate... a lot of newer spinners have a lot of trouble in this area. I mean cont shadow = easy, and TA isn't that hard, but anything else could get tough...

It pushes people to learn.

Cont IA is also doable at this level at a pretty good rate.

@eburt, they have more than two weeks to learn a cont trick.

Wow, really nice theme, i really like it. I now working on Bak 1.5 continios, don't know can i mastered this before deadline, but i really want to use it in combo.

Try not to learn that Bobr because I don't want you to beat me.

Mats, what is time limit of combo? And i have some question about tricks that can be continios in this battle. Can i put continios hybrids like continios devil around, or continios combo, like shadow 23-12 > shadow 12-23, or continios harmonic, like TA harmonic, or continios infinity?

im not a 100% sure about this, but he's said multiple times that it has to be continuous SINGLE tricks.... although i think he said hybrids like "Devils" and stuff is ok.

Continuous TRICKS, NO continuous combos of any kind, harmonic or otherwise. There is no time limit to the combo (if I don't set a limit, it means there is no limit).

So, i can't add any continios hybrids, like devil around, or any other continios hybrid without name?

P.S. You said that Fake double continios is cont trick, but this is hybrid.

A hybrid is not a combo, it is a hybrid intermingling of two tricks pushed into one. He said devil's around, fake doubles are ok so they are tricks/hybrids. So, I'm pretty sure you can do them.

I just did not want Fake Doubles since there is a huge issue as to what one exactly is that has never really resolved. Feel free to use hybrids that are clearly defined such as the Devil's Around. Just, avoid tricks with naming issues.

I want to add some new continios hybrids without official name, but i can write breakdown of it.

I clearly understand what is the difference beetwen ext ta and fake double. If u mean continios, u must write cont fake double, but not cont ext ta.

You can do Extended TAs.

Not with 1.0 spin. TA 12-12 isn't possible, as far as I know. Prove me wrong though.

Ext TA: TA > fl pass rev T1-12
Fake double: Ext TA > pass rev 12-T1
Ext TA continios: Ext TA > pass rev 12-T1 > Ext Ta > pass rev 12-T1 ..... But this is continios Fake double. That's what i mean.

If you can guide around an Extended TA 12 - 12, then you can do it. It's hard as hell though, and I'm not learning it to prove a silly point.

The deadline was pushed back a week on April 11. The new deadline is April 23.

Thanks you. Just thought I would confirm that this is true. But for the record this is the first time I've been on UCPSB today, so don't really expect them up much before this anyway... unfortunately I do have a life outside of the internet :lol:

Why deadline is changed? And why u don't said it before first deadline? This is bad for me, because i didn't fully satisfied with my combo, i send it only because deadline. So, now i have more time, but this 2 days without training my combo....

I said it in at least three threads, as well as making a brand new sticky about it. I also replied to all messages with vids, telling you there was another week. Its your fault if you didn't know. I pushed it back to acomidate the change between me and Mats running this, as it was a lot to take on in a short time.
