Title: Dedicated Hosting ?

Is there any plan to move off of invision free ?
It seems that UCPSB is large enough to justifiy dedicated hosting, and it seems there are a decent number of people on the forum willing to help out in terms of money and hosting.
to start thinking about getting a .org instead of this .co.nr might be worth thinking about.

are you talking about domain name or server change?
FPSB has 60-70 visitors in their peak hour everyday, yet they're still on free hosting (although it's unbelievably slow). We're not even bigger than them. Or should I say, because our population is spread out over different time zones, we never get spikes.
Because their board has 0 visitors for most of the night. Here there's always people.

Be ready to wait though. It isn't expected to be opened until a few years later.

Yea. first time i saw UPSB v3, i thought its gonna open like in 3 month. but now i think its gonna open like few years later

Even if we arent expecting UPSB we really dont need dedicated hosting, we seem to be doing fine without it so far, so why fix it? IT AINT BROKEN!!!
And if you want an easier domain lets register for a .tk domain.

ucpsb.tk is already registered (for this forum).

because it is more professional having your own domain and server. Also it would be ad free and faster.
lol upsbv3 was supposed to be released a last year

If you don't like the ads get an adblocker... This is fine and like they already mentioned, we're waiting for UPSB. UCPSB was meant as a temporary forum until UPSB was opened...
