Title: Dr. Grip Types

How many types of dr. grip are there? I have a black mechanical pencil dr grip that is different than the ones you buy currently in stores. The metal tip is thinner but similar weight, and the grip is about 1 cm longer. There is also no metal backcap, just an eraser (the pen could have lost the backcap though, i stole it from my friend). Also, the clip is plastic, not metal, and it doesn't have the shaker mechanism. The side text also lacks the pilot logo. Is this an older version or are there different kinds? Which are the tips used in Dr. KT?

4 i think

US version of Dr.Grip
Japanese "old" Dr.Grip
G-Spec (aka Center Of Gravity in US)
G-Spec CL

EDIT:
i think all of them work for Dr.KT. G-Spec has rings on Tip, so it's gonna come off eaisly.

These are probably the same you have named, just that I don't know the names...

There's 2 different kinds, the "classic" Dr. Grip that can be found in Japan, and the more "modern" one that is more common in other countries. Of each kind there's 1 Mechanical Pencil (the "modern" one with shaker) and 1 Gel Pen. Thus 4 in total, and these are probably the ones you mentioned :] And it's the "classic" Japanese Dr. Grip Mechanical Pencil tip that is best for Dr. KT.

1) Types of Dr.Grip, but missing some

2) Dr.Grip USA old type, aka Japanese pure old, aka "Classic"

3) That Dr.Grip G-Spec CL, not just G-Spec. G-Spec and CL have different inner grips.

Trust me, i have them all

Old Dr.Grip is found in Japan, still produced alot today, and also have shaker...
Classic ones are really old which doesnt even have a shaker.

G-Spec is the modern one, and CL is the latest version. shape is similar to G-Spec, except it have hole for putting a yarn in it. also, grip is different especailly Off-Roader. i have it. it have bumpy inner grips

So i think there's Dr. Grip, mechanical & pen, and then Dr. Grip Gel (the modern one outside of japan), with mechanical & pen, and then the two g-specs (COG)? I have a dr. grip cog which is a nice pen but its not really suited to spinning, the tip is much smaller & lighter. It wouldn't work for a kt at all.
