This is just a neat little idea I had, that I thought might make a cool vid... For those that don't know, a Collage (not college) is an artistic arrangement (usually of photographs on a specific subject). These photos overlap and make an interesting piece to look at. What I want to do is get a lot of videos of single tricks from different people and then put them together, smoothly so it looks like one combo (except for background/pen changes). If you are interested please follow these guidelines:

-Film with right hand (so that they can be linked together)
-Film with your palm twords the camera (or palm down) again so they will look good. Example of angle: http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y128/Ebur...sampleangle.jpg
-Please use good lighting and decent quality, aka no cell phones.
-Anyone can submit, no need for amazing tricks, we need simple ones as well
-Please title your vid with the starting slot, trick, your name, ending slot. Example: T1 TA Eburt 23 (this is for my convenience)

I'm looking for somewhere between 1-2 minutes for the video.

As I said, you can either do a few simple righty tricks or include a hand transfer. Just make sure you have at least one trick that could link from your transfer so it looks good. Or try to get someone else to make a transfer.

Edit: I suppose if there is enough interest we could do a second video, all left handed, to cut out the problems of a hand transfer...

nah, angles not that important so long as its somewhat palm facing he camera, otherwise the transitions would look really wierd. Just film whatever, worst case scenario, it won't work and you've wasted a few minutes, is all!

anything within like a 15 degree rotation of that, on any axis, should be fine... seems to be the angle most people prefer, so thats why I chose it. Just point the palm tword the camera...

i dont like that angle lol.

That means i have to hold the cam, and psing doesnt look as cool that up close.

The pen probably also wont fit on the camera, so it will just be a blur.

ok, need to clarify a few things... sorry, been out all day and last night.

Firstly anyone can submit as many videos as they want. I'm not gonna promise every one will be in there, but if you submit, at least one thing will definately be worked in.

Also, Dk, no, this is not supposed to be like that, though I'll admit it was somewhat inspired by that, as well as the transitions in the team spinning match. Each trick should be submitted alone. Hybrids are fine, but only single tricks. In other words its gonna be like 100 1sec clips thrown together... gonna be a pain :P

Edit: oh yeah, right hand should be the one that is spinning.

I'm a bit skeptical though. Once tohlz showed me a compilation he did of indexspin multiple. Basically it was 4 indexspin multiple short videos in succession, to show the difference between Zombo version and tohlz version. It "changes" video every second, and by the end I had a headache, because you see the hand "skipping".

yeah, I realize that it may not work out too well. Its an experiment though, which is why its in private videos, more for fun than anything else. Also it should get me using vegas :P I planned to do a slight fade effect between clips to hopefully lessen then dramaticness of the changes, though I'm not sure how much it will help.

Hmm... I have three submissions and the duedate is tomorrow... and two of those were only one trick per person... I really need some new vids if this is going to happen guys... I'm extendig the deadline a day, so that more people will hopefully submit.

Should we use only one type of pen (i.e. RSVP MX, ComSsa)? :grin:
