can you give us the insert you use?

I'm not too sure how to mjake this. I mean all we have here is a bunch of pictures and a list of the pens needed. Although I'll definately give this a go.

I have only one problem, the comssa cap doesnt stand nice on one side (i think). Could you please give us a piture of it without comssa caps.

Edit: i already made, its really great. I made only one thing wrong i filled the front of the HGG too much so the G2 part "dances# a bit. But i would still like a picture of it without comssa caps

That pen looks awesome and it has a nice insert. I'd make my own but I don't have the materials. I need some ComSsa caps.

Mine is only 2mm longer than a normal comssa.

Is it possible to put grips in one cap to make it balance?

Oh and without the HGG tip and ink tube it's balanced good like on the picture.
It it's also quite the same balance as a comssa.

can u use an HGR instead of an HGG

No. Only for the fact that the HGR doesn't have the groove where you would have the grip (like an HGG has). Thats where the G2 barrel slides onto the HGG.

I have yet to make this even though I have all the needed parts.. Because this tutorial is kind of-- whats the word-- poorly done. But it is MR.LSC, so don't expect too much English from him. ;)

I made a small tutorial for the people that didn't understand his one.

HGG comssa v.3-HGG CS

Material you need:
1 HGG-only barrel
1 G2-only barrel
Comssa caps




Tools:
Sharp knife (I use a olfa knife)
Sand paper, file

Instructions:

1. Take the HGG barrel and cut and then file the bumps at the end away.




2. Cut a 4 cm (it can also be a bit shorter, test a bit by yourself) portion away from the G2




File the end of the G2 piece so the comssa cap can go on. You have to test a bit by yourself if you want to get the exact same length as the comssa





3. Put the G2 piece on the HGG barrel.



4. Put the comssa caps on but for the back cap the back cap of the HGG shouldn't be visible.

the bic roundstick caps seem to fit but i ono if it will weight differently even with anyballs grip or profile.

No it does not need to be sanded all you have to do is force it on. Even though it was so hard to get it son it is not hard to pull off. When you say Hgg tip if you are speaking about the where the metal tip was then yes cut it so that the area with the grip is all that is left get rid of the bulge.

You need to cut away the bumps at the HGG tip so you can stick the G2 barrel over. But cutting them won't do the job so you can also sand it a bit but try not to sand much cause the more you sand it the more "dirty" and ugly will the pen look. And for the cap at the back end of the HGG question, I covered it in my tutorial. I just pushed it on and it worked fine, if you are afraid you could sand it a bit but it not too much so the cap won't be loose.

i juss can't seem to sand down the g2 part down enough so that the cap doesn't fall off

haha are you serious? Take off the HGG grip and look at the plastic barrel...do you notice how near the metal tip there are some raised bumps...sand those down.

i love this mod but have a hell of a time getting inserts to go in nicely...always rip or dont look right once in the barrel since the change in size on the HGG, ne one have ne suggestions??
