Title: Down The Hand Combo Help?

OmegEn - April 29, 2007 12:23 AM (GMT)
I have issues with my tricks.

Most of my tricks go up the hand.

Right now all I have to go down the hand are Shadows (Normal and Devils.) and Passes.

What tricks could I learn somewhat quickly so I don't have to spam them so much?

K4S - April 29, 2007 12:31 AM (GMT)
Sonics and all its variations, moonkwalks go down hand as well. And so does bakfall, neobakfall etc etc.

What's a moonwalk?

normal charge rotation, but it goes the opposite direction. A moonwalk sonic is basically a charge where you put down the bottom finger you're holding it with and let it drop a slot instead of the normal way.

I'd also sugest some arounds as they can be caught however you want... twisted sonics and all those of course as well...

That seems harder than it sounds, are there any tut videos somewhere?

Alright, thank so for now, I've decided to work on Moonwalk and Sonic Clips [normal and reverse]

Thank you all.

I'm having trouble understanding how the Moonwalk is done.

Could someone make me a tutorial vid that clearly explains it?

It would be appreciated.

Of course no one has to.

Hey there! This video must be a Moonwalk Sonic, not sure, but it must be. I am not sure about the breakdown, but I thik it is like: Charge 12 > move down your Middle Finger to let it go 23 > Charge.
Any corrections can be accepted.

Ivan the Terrible - April 30, 2007 10:51 PM (GMT)
I suggest you work Passes, Twisted Sonic variations, Backarounds, Arounds...

For Moonwalk Sonic it is the same as Sonic Clip but instead going from 23 to 12 you go from 12 to 23 doing the sam circles. Quite easy once you get the hang if charging from 12 to 23.

JMember: that is a moonwalk sonic, but not a very nice looking one.

only things i use are charge pass, sonics, shadows and baks.
dont worry about it, it really doesnt matter as long as it looks good and you mix it up. there are plenty of variations within those.

I would say IMO that you should not go by this vid for inverse moonwalk sonic, it goes into the inverse sonic reverse and comes out normal, so it changes spin during the clip. Anyways, I use moonwalk sonics

@Ivan: My passes are a bit sub par but do look somewhat nice. For some reason I can't seem to link anything after a bak.

And with Arounds I can barely pull them off, and the ones I can do I can't get them off with any combos.

My favorite families are Shadow and Sonic, so I'll work on those for now.

I'm having big isssues with Sonic Clip though, the only one that gets anywhere close is reverse 12-23.

Other than that I can't get the charges or if I do it bumps into my finger, even though it's already as low as I can get it.

Some tricks that I do to go down the hand are Twisted Sonic Rev, Neoback 12-34, Warped Sonic, and Inverse Sonic Rev.

It's also very simple to do either wipers T!-34 or TA rev-34, at the end of a 'up'combo. Also, taps can go down the had if you release teh pen(try it, it's hard to explain).
I still have similar problems, so good luck.

PS I think strictly speaking the youtube vid was a monwalk sonic-charge, or moonwalk sonic clip. I certainly had 2 rotations.

Moonwalk Sonics and weird Passes all the way. I'll make a vid of a nice looking moonwalk sonic later :]
