What is the sonic 2x? Is it like a sonic rise?

Sonic 2x is Sonic 34-12. ^^. It from the 34, and goes directly to 12. heheh.

Sonic 2x = Sonic 34-12

It goes right from pinky and ring finger to index and middle finger

Sonic 2x is also an older naming convention. It would better to just use the finger positions.

Sonic 2x can either mean:

Sonic 34-12
or
Sonic 23-T1

so it's a demon sonic/

Demon's Sonic is a hybrid (now called interrupted combo?) of Sonic 34-23 > Pass Reverse 23-12

Sonic 2x is just a Sonic that skips a slot.

Example:
Sonic 34-23 = Sonic that starts between the Ring & Pinky fingers, ends between the Middle and Ring fingers. It only moves up 1 slot.

Sonic 2x 34-12 = Sonic that starts between the Ring & Pinky fingers, ends between the Index and Middle fingers. It moves up 2 slots.

These days, the 2x notation is outdated. Just use the finger positions by themselves to say what the tricks is:
Sonic 34-12
or
Sonic 23-T1

Ok. My stupid friend called it a demon sonic.

I heard about something like "Sonic Jump" for this trick. Is it another name for it?

Sonic Jump is an outdated name. Don't use it. Use finger notation instead.

I don't know though, i always found sonic jump confusing cause its hard to distinguish from other sonics, maybe im wrong.

Good.Sometimes that notation"jump" makes me confusing with sonic aerial so it's a good thing.

haha. i agree. it's nice to do it harmonic... looks flashy.. but not so cool for combos...

stupid trick can't do shit in combos. looks disgustingly unsmooth, and wastes precious trick doing space by jumping past 1 pair of fingers.

Well you can get it smooth, just that it's slow as hell.
