Why come? I use superglue for all my mods, what else did you have in mind?

Superglue contracts when it dries, therefore making plastic brittle... Bad for putting HGG tips on RSVPs in particular. Plus it can be messy and a pain...

Hmm... interesting, but what would you supplement instead? Simply twisting the tip on never lasts.

I used to use it too but some of my mxs tip would break off right wear the glue is. Like Eburt said it can weaken the pen some. Also some people say that they have never had a pen break that use super glue. It might be the kind or brand of super glue the person's using or there spinning habits(spinning over soft stuff). If I were you I would put a small piece of tape on the tip of the mx then screw the tip on. It will stay on tight and if you want to reuse the tip on another pen then all you have to do is screw it off.

i use elmers super glue. it works amazing, dries quick. complete hole

the cons, well, im suck with it so i leave the inserts lookin a mess and permanently stuck to the pen. and i get the insert on my hand. sure it looks cool. but try explaining that to the ladies one week later.

The best glue to use is epoxy glue (the kind that has the two different glue colors that you mix). It's hard and very flexible :D..but most people use it to hold massive stuff like broken chairs together, not little pen tips

The absolute best is teflon tape, like Kam uses for HGG tips. Just put some around the tip and then screw the HGG tip on. With SuperGlue the tip is more vulnerable to falls.

I use superglue to put the tips on my RSVP's, and yeah, they don't break for me. Except for that one time where my friend decided to throw my MX..

anything rong with silicon glue??? i happen to use it and works fine for me. and since its like a rubber type, dropping the pen wont break it or anything. and also it being rubber, u can always remove it wen u wanna change somthing. but the problem is, u cant let anyone who dusnt no about pen spinning to touch it. theyre gunna wind up pulling things off.

There arent any wrong ways, but like Eburt said, teflon is the best method. I will never go back to the desk method.

I've never tried Teflon tape before but athletic tape works well too.
