In Thai Namae mod is very famous. Because it looks really similar as Dr.Kt but it heavier.

are you fucking me?? how is namae heavier than kt??

it uses signo tips which are 2.3g while dr. grip shaker's are 4.5g (i used electronic ballance in chem class)

and the whole dr. kt is like 15g.. . .so how the h3ll is namae mod heavier??

i will make the namae mod next week. . . then i guess i'll do a review on it.

K4S - May 10, 2007 01:58 AM (GMT)

Cwazy Spin - May 10, 2007 02:37 AM (GMT)

AlmightyMalachi - May 10, 2007 05:15 AM (GMT)
The namae is heavier, maybe 3-4 grams more
i have one, just using the KT style Tip/Grips, but the body is a big thicker and the caps dont go on as far making it a hair longer than the Keityo. but its more comfortable to spin because of not having those sharp angle up edges like the Keityo. Its smooth all the way around so it doesn't get in the way of Bakarounds and thumbspins. Sits more comfortable. its nicely put together. If you want the heaviest of the heavy use the Thai mod which is
2 Namae
3 Sailor Gels (KT Style)
but using Pentel BK83 tips. which are slightly heavier than the Dr. Grips

K4S - May 10, 2007 05:21 AM (GMT)
are you sure BK83 tips are heavier?....dr.grip tips are pretty damn big as it is

AlmightyMalachi - May 10, 2007 05:49 AM (GMT)
from what've heard/seen it seems they're heavier, I havent been able to locate any BK83's so can't really tell ya from first hand. For now, just stick with Dr. KT styling, it'll be heavier than a normal Dr. KT with the body.

Cwazy Spin - May 10, 2007 09:45 PM (GMT)
erm.......the origional mod uses uni-ball signo tips.

but i guess if you shove heavy ass tips on it, it'll be heavier than kt.

JDzzz - May 10, 2007 10:58 PM (GMT)
Iam thinking of buying some here soon, Ill post specs if possible.

Cwazy Spin - May 11, 2007 12:32 AM (GMT)
well i am buying some and i will post specs once i get my namae body's (latest on wed next week. )

frisbee - May 11, 2007 12:37 AM (GMT)
If i get mine first i'll post spec as well... I won't have a weight in grams but ill be able to compare it to dr.kt

K4S - May 11, 2007 12:38 AM (GMT)
i could weigh my mods in grams down to 5 decimals :P

frisbee - May 11, 2007 12:43 AM (GMT)
Well i could bring them into my chemistry class next time we do a lab... but thats lame :P
