So yeah, I haven't made one yet. i'm looking for somewhere to find led lights that would actually work with a pen. I've seen a light mod once and that was from someone here on ucpsb(http://youtube.com/watch?v=dzMnVwX76VY). But I don't think anyone really knows how it was done. If there's any news, can someone shed some light?<--haha, didnt even realize.

but to answer your question, there are not any tutorials on how to make light mods yet, but you can make your own by buying a switch, some wire, some 5mm leds and a soldering iron from radioshack.

Haha, thats my video. I've made 3 versions: 2 rsvp types and a clear comssa one. Two use a clicking switch, the other is a twist on kinda thing...i still get a bitter taste thinking about all the trouble i went through to make those. I dont even see a purpose in an led mod, i just did it as a challenge since all the other pen mods i wanted to make were easy/boring :unsure:

The challenge isn't really the LED itself. Its finding small enough batteries and a switch mechanism that will work in a pen. Also keeping the pen ballanced in some one sided mods can be difficult.

I smell a new field of occupation coming...

Haha sweet, yeah I want to make some just for the challenge. It's wierd, I started modding pens and got more enjoyment out of that before i even started spinnign them. I can't choose which I like more now, the satisfaction of making a pen and spinning it yourself is the best part. But on the switch, 5mm leds and soldering wire, all of these can be found at radio shack? And k4s, is that what you did?

So i went and bought a few things today, many different LEDs, a soldering iron, wire, solder, a push button, flux, and am using some batteries i already had. i have a basic idea of what im going to do, as soon as i make a successful pen, ill be the first to upload a tutorial I guess.

Good luck. My led mod uses very few material other than the leds pretty much but you seem to know what you're doing :)
