Title: Palmroll?
platinumnerd - May 22, 2007 10:36 PM (GMT)
what is that trick where you roll the pen down the palm? i see RYO(sp? kid that invented dr.kt) do it often...can somebody explain how it works?

its called armroll and it's really easy (to understand).
It's been used by many spinners such as kaisen, Phya, tohlz...

I've never seen ryo do armroll, so I think maybe he means palmspin .5.

Hmm.. I've never seen him do that either.. can you post a video with him doing it, as well as the time? Thanks.

here's one
RYO superkids he does it around 4:36

Im not gonna break down the whole video but the part you are talking about, he does a twisted sonic bust & instead of catching it he allows the pen to keep spinning for a palmspin 0.5 into 34 (thats the part you're talking about)

He actually does corkscrew (twisted sonic > scissor spin), then palmspin .5.

scissor spin...that sounds kinda hard...
so back on the topic, how do you do palm spins? do you just let it roll down the palm?

Watch
Kam's Pen Spinning Video on the Superhandz website. It has a very obvious palmspin.
