The podcast is at:

noon (Saturday afternoon) on the west coast of USA/Canada
1 pm (Saturday afternoon) midwest [mountain zone] USA/Canada
2 pm (Saturday afternoon) central USA/Canada
3 pm (Saturday afternoon) on the east coast of USA/Canada
4 pm (Saturday afternoon) Atlantic Canada
4:30 pm (Saturday afternoon) Newfoundland only
8 pm, 9 pm, or 10 pm (Saturday evening) for European countries (depends where in Europe you live)
4 am (Sunday morning) in west Australia
5 am (Sunday morning) in central Australia
6 am (Sunday morning) in east Australia
8 am (Sunday morning) in New Zealand

Subtracting time zones is easy. because not many are to the west of EST. When you add time zones, however, remember that you're adding TIME, not NUMBERS, so the "TENS" column actually goes up to TWELVE (12), not TEN (10).

For example,
Convert 6 pm EST (GMT -5) to GMT +4.
Number of time zones is: (+4)-(-5) = 9
6 pm + 9 = 5 am ? NO! (can't add time like numbers!)
6 pm + 9 = 6 pm + 6 + 3 = 12 am + 3 = 3 am (YES!)

Another way to do it is to CONVERT TO 24h TIME, then you CAN add time like you would add NUMBERS.
6 pm is 18:00
18:00 + 9 = 27:00
Or more simply, subtracting 24:00 (this only tells you that it's the following day): 27:00 - 24:00 = 03:00, or 3 am.

The double 'comprende' was an accident I was too lazy to edit. I wasn't angry so much as annoyed. Anyway, I'm not sure I'll be able to attend the next podcast because I may have relatives visiting from the US. So have fun!
