How's it goin'? Doing ok?

Well I just wanted to share with you guys how much i've accomplished in 1 year with my pen spinning. (May 27, 2006-May 27, 2007)

I'm very happy where I am right now.

Oh yeah. Sorry that most of the combos are off screen and the blurriness. I used a different camera than i usually do and it kept autofocusing. So please look past those parts and just enjoy the spinning.

Breakdowns

There was a time when you were becoming creative, and it looked like you were going to be a very good spinner. Now you seem to have joined the Korean wave, or tsunami.

This is awesome. Like you said, exclusiveness. :lol: Lot of stuff I've never seen you do before and it blew me away. Greatness. Too bad the camera kept autofocusing... That's what my previous camera did too. Damn Sony.

well you know what. A week ago i was thinking.

I needed to make a video for my 1 year. I was debating on making a video on creativity or my skills.

I didn't have time to make something creative so I stuck with technical skills.
So just because this video isn't "Creative" That dosen't mean that i'm still not "Creative", it just means that i wanted a video to show how good i am at penspinning.

psht me and asian tim have been switching colors of sketching MXs for awhile now. i had a bunch lik sky blue, purple, green and pink. i jus either took them apart or... gasp!!! i broke my fav skyblue one :ghost:

Wow mats you suck, do you want everyone to be "creative" just because you use it to hide your lack of skills? you obviously cant do a smooth flowing combo so you have to add "creative" tricks to it, their unsmooth like hell and look like shit but.... their creative!
Asian Tim is one of the best spinners ive seen here on ucpsb lately, the way he mastered arounds amazes me and he succeeds to combinate them with passes very well. The thing that fucked it up for me was the low fps camera, but otherwise iam very amazed by the vid. Very well done man.

yea fook you need to check out some of these comments againt korean spinning in some other threads. i mean some ppl accused levi of being not creative and korean.

I guess its all in practice. Like i mean maybe some people have an advantage of learning tricks fast. But in the end it's all about practicing. Just keep at it man and don't give up. Ohh and thanks for the comment man. :D

You don't have to do an aerial, a stall or a rarely used trick to be creative Mats. Those arounds with passes are bloody creative in my eyes. The linking up of tricks can be very creative.
