Title: F3000 Or 3000f
Description: Can you buy this?
Penwish - May 31, 2007 08:53 AM (GMT)
I know the F3000 but is the 3000F just a modded F3000 or is it completely different . Someone clarify please and where can they usually be obtained?
Penwish - May 31, 2007 08:54 AM (GMT)
I know they are discontinued but just wondering =p. I only got 100 or so F3000 but was wondering about 3000F
xshadowfire - May 31, 2007 09:13 AM (GMT)
you're probably going to go through hell trying to find a 3000*f, they're about the same price as dr. kt and 15x as hard to find (if not more).
the difference is that the 3000*f comes double sided, while you have to mod a f-3000
edit: i think there are a couple wandering around in hong kong
Penwish - May 31, 2007 09:27 AM (GMT)
Thanks for the info i guess it would be pretty pointless for me to find haha. I may as well beg zebra to start making them again...hmmmmmmmmmmmmm
patrick - May 31, 2007 11:12 AM (GMT)
Yeah, do that - I promise I'll buy one in your shop :P
Tim - May 31, 2007 12:08 PM (GMT)
I think tht quite a few people will want f3000 for a 3000f mod.I'm pretty sure that people will still want f3000. I would.
TayYH89 - June 1, 2007 01:57 AM (GMT)
I really don't get what's the big fuss about this 3000*F pens. Yeah, I was still pretty much surprise when people PM me for those pens. As for the difference, they are pretty much the same. The only reason why I would want them is because nhk spun them, and keep them as a souvenir because they are rare (well, I keep mods too). I wouldn't want to spin them though. If you really want to spin such a pen, a modded F-3000 will do.
Zombo - June 1, 2007 01:59 AM (GMT)
F*3000 is the fake version of the 3000*f. Same thing though. I think F*3000 may have a different length.
Dr1v37h38u5 - June 7, 2007 01:47 AM (GMT)
for most people, the need for f3000's and 3000f's is solely for collection purposes. the very idea that they are rare and highly prized makes them attractive to most spinners.
its like anything else that's rare. i hold onto a $2 bill just because you don't find them very often. i could always use it to buy something, but something holds me back from sticking it into my wallet.
TayYH89 - June 7, 2007 02:07 AM (GMT)
Apparently, I've seen more and more people spinning 3000*Fs, or more likely, if you are trading it for collection purposes only, then why would you want more than 1?
Health - June 7, 2007 09:44 AM (GMT)
I would buy one to spin. Just like you'd buy most pens to spin. Although im sure id be very paranoid about losing it and probably not take it anywhere
Eburt - June 7, 2007 09:16 PM (GMT)
They own... spin them FTW.
And yeah, good luck getting a loarge number of them, Penwish... probably too expensive to be worth it.
Zombo - June 7, 2007 09:28 PM (GMT)
3000*f = RAre
F-3000 = common.
Just go to Hong Kong.
Howard123 - June 10, 2007 08:50 AM (GMT)
I live in Hong Kong and f-300s here aren't that uncommon
They just suck but nhk seems to take full control of this pen
As for the 3000-fs, they are the same with the exception of being 3mm shorter than f-3000s

Nope. This may not be true. There are F-3000s that are of the same length as 3000*F.
frisbee - June 11, 2007 01:37 AM (GMT)
3mm is small enough to be accepted out-of-factory error, just a little difference in the length or the way the cap fits on.

one of the godfathers of pen spinning
Rocky - June 11, 2007 02:06 AM (GMT)
I wish 3000*F's weren't so expensive...
I want one to save for it's rarity and one for spinning.
Tim - June 11, 2007 08:26 AM (GMT)
NHK is probably one of the best spinners. He's my second favourite spinner. His vids on troposhpere are awesome and he can do cont. thumbspin 1.5 ( and con.t thumbaround, backaround and backaround 1.5)
890 - June 13, 2007 04:56 AM (GMT)
Is penwish going to be selling 3000* F or whatever??
TayYH89 - June 13, 2007 06:19 AM (GMT)
I doubt so. There aren't so many 3000*Fs to go around.
PenSpinner - June 13, 2007 07:54 AM (GMT)
I have a chat friend in hong kong he sais that he cant get 3000*f and f-3000 cuz they are very rare
Penwish - June 13, 2007 05:40 PM (GMT)
It is not how hard you look. It is where you look :vhappy:
