Title: New Mod...
Description: but no insert...

XxAzNkOrEaNbOixX - June 4, 2007 02:57 AM (GMT)
I just finished making a prototype that I've been working on the whole time that I was gone. It mainly uses a G2 and a HGG barrel, but most importantly it's retractable.

Edit:
OH! and yes!!! it is very durable!!! i am reluctant to say it because i might get pwned, yet i'll say it anyways because i know its true... I think it is even more durable than a RSVP in all areas except for the tip, which sometimes comes loose, but that can be fixed if you use a different method than i do to keep the tip on the pen, which is to screw it on.

Here's a pic with it un-retracted(is that the right word?) along with an MX that also doesn't have an insert so everyone can get a gist of what the size of it is.

And this is a pic of the ink pushed out of the pen with an MX again for comparison.

Since it's retractable I guess it's cool. BUt Im not too fond of the back part with that "chunky" look. Other than that it's nice

Wasnt this made before? Someone with a better memory should remember :dunno:

Something similar was made. The G2 click section was on the BACK of the RSVP. On this mod it appears to be on the FRONT, leaving me to wonder how stable is the grip part.

This pen is actually very durable, including the grip part. Try to imagine a retractable version of DarkArcher's Hybrid HGG². The main reason it looks "chunky" on the back is because I didn't do a really good job on the cutting the barrel of the HGG, which left cracks in many places. Even so, the back end is very durable. The front where the grip is is held in place bye a G2 ink barrel. The ink barrel fits very tightly in the back end of the HGG and is connected to a G2 tip part that has been filed down by means of tape to make it thick enough to keep the G2 tip in place. Just give me some time to work out some small "kinks" in the mod and I'll post a tut with better pics AND a insert in it.
