Nothing final or solid yet...

It has been awhile since we have done a collaboration with the japanese. The last one (to my knowledge) was back in May, and i thought it was a wonderful collab and a great sucess.

I cannot deny that UCPSB's relationship with other foreign forums has been diminishing, due to the lack of outer forum activity. I think a collab with JEB will be a good way to build a friendly relationship.

Problem is, alot of our members have become inactive, (RandomNewb, Kaoru, Dkgamer) especially the ones that had good international relationships. That means it is difficult to organize a collab between forums, when we have little connection to start with.

But of course, there are othermembers (such as REX, eso) that can get these things done, which is why I think this collab is possible. But we have lost a very good editor (Dkgamer) so we will have to find an editor that will complete the project for us.

I am a horrible editor, and I do not speak any Japanese, therefore i cannot spearhead the project. I merely suggest the idea, and think it would benefit UCPSB's reputation.

Ifmany of you guys are interested, we should start thinking how we are going to do this. :WTF:

EDIT- It is very likely this collab will not be made. But i will try my best. If nobody steps up by the end of the week (Friday), I will find another way to contact them.

I talked to Sunrise, he didn't want/wasn't able to help and neither did he know anyone with enough english skills that would be able to help :/

Let me do some research on how to phrase the proposal correctly and I'll post something up.

Before I even post something up, I need to know what to say. What are the details of the video? It's best to come up with these things before posting, rather than confirming if people want to join THEN deciding on the constraints.

Will this be filtered? How long for vids? How many people from each board? etc....

Eh, just suggestions here for what I think is suitable for collabs:

Deadline for clips: 3 weeks after announcement
Deadline for collab: 2 weeks after recieving of clips
Length of collab: 2.00-3.30 minutes
Number of spinners/board: 5-6
Length of clips: 10-20 seconds

Too short i believe, and too less people.

Okay, I'll suggest some outlines as well.

Number of Spinners: 10-12 (will be filtered)
Deadline: 4 weeks after confirmation (one month to film)
clip length: 10-22 seconds (If video is a bit off, its still okay.

It would be great if you could Eso. I'll talk to you on msn about some of the details.

But REX, you cannot be too demanding. If they really are too busy with their tournament, you should not force them to do anything.

If there is not enough interest, then so be it.
