Title: Fratleym's Blog

fratleym - June 5, 2007 02:25 PM (GMT)
I've done a penspinnign blog recently.

http://fratleym.over-blog.com/

I know that lots of blogs are done in the world of penspinning, and mainly in France where blog habit is very popular.

But anyway, I know that most of you wont understand french but the goal was to put some great videos and thinking about penspinning. I analyse some of the vid and give my opinion about it.

There's soem new video of korean so, just for that, I have thought that some of you could be interested in it
this blog has no pretention, I will try to put a lot of videos in it.

I will see if some of you in the community are interested by this kind of thinking about single vids.

The 2p1h combo sure was.

Alucard - June 5, 2007 06:23 PM (GMT)

Pashas/Pasius, he was also in the FPSB/PDS Collab, where he firstly introduced 2p1h to the general public [as far as I know].

Cool blog, Frat. Update it often with cool vids. ;)

Cool blog fratleym. Nice 2p1h but I wish he had done a penaround or something. When he was spinning them together it was impressive but just holding a pen in your thumb is really easy

i will give you anything you want if you copy that combo.

its much less "easy" than you think.

spinning w/ one pen without hitting the other pen is crazy hard

Nice blog, I'd like it even more if I knew French

Also, the 2p1h thing was pretty cool in my opinion.

I can't copy that combo because like i said some of the stuff he did was good & his tricks are much more fluid, but i can definitely hold a pen in my thumbflap & do charge/pass/sonic combos.

again, i doubt it.

Why? I just did it. I'm not going to film it for you because its a waste of my time. But holding a pen by the tip in your TF & doing twisted sonics isn't hard. Transferring the pen to it & doing the stuff where he holds them together is hard though.

strat1227 - June 7, 2007 02:07 AM (GMT)
im sorry, i just cant see someone who's been spinning for 5 months pull it off. nothing against you. I cant do it, and ive been spinning 7. and im fairly good for my 7 months.

Eburt - June 7, 2007 02:09 AM (GMT)
this is getting pretty off topic... well kinda, but anyway, why does time have to be such a factor? You basically all start at zero since hardly anyone has ever tried a combo like that. And even so, people have aptitudes and tallents for different things.... time seems kinda like a useless measure.

fratleym - June 7, 2007 01:09 PM (GMT)
the first two days are a success. More than 500 visits in two days.
Most of you dont understand anything to french but it seems that the videos have woken up your interest.
Keep on telling me what you find good and what you dont find good^^

strat1227 - June 7, 2007 01:40 PM (GMT)
maybe a translation? :rolleyes:

It doesnt have to be word for word, just a short description (in english) of what your saying please?

Eso - June 7, 2007 01:49 PM (GMT)
It's not that hard to understand. I understand at least 30% of the words and I only took 1 year of French. Just look for the words that look like English. LOL

strat1227 - June 7, 2007 02:03 PM (GMT)
well, SOME people arent language geniouses, and DONT go on language adventures

>XD

fratleym - June 7, 2007 03:26 PM (GMT)
Ok I will try to do some little descriptions of what I say.

Actually it's hard because I give the full opinion I have about a combo but I will translate it when I think it's really important.

firebird - June 7, 2007 03:52 PM (GMT)
I think the calendar, recent articles, etc. might look better on the left side instead of the right.

fratleym - June 7, 2007 05:23 PM (GMT)
Thx for the advice I have changed it and I find it better like that^^

Tim - June 8, 2007 11:10 AM (GMT)
Half of it isn't that hard to understand. I'm looking t one paragraph here and I get the drift with and i've never learnt french.

Your french lesson:

grande difficulte=very difficult
le cont midback 1.5 x11=Continuous midback 1.5 x11
le bakfall=bakfall
le rev bak=rev bak
tricks=tricks
vide'os=videos
incroyables-think thats incredible not 100%sure
l'impression=inmpression/the impression not sure which
penspinning=penspinning

How'd I do fratleym

p.s that was taken from the cloudy video part. Awesome vid.

fratleym - June 12, 2007 04:59 PM (GMT)
thanks to Romain HXC, lal the articles of the first page have been translated. I will do others later and, for the following articles, I will translate the important analyse I will do.
