Title: Extended Sonic Rise?
Delusion - June 20, 2007 10:33 AM (GMT)
Would Charge 34 -> Sonic 34-23 -> Charge 23 -> Sonic 23-12 -> Charge 12 be an Extended Sonic Rise? If not, is there a specific name for it?
If there is Extended Sonic Rise, would there be a Extended Twisted Sonic Rise (plus variations like Inverse of Sonics and Twisted Sonics) as well?
Sorry if i put in wrong forum, i put it in fundamental tricks because all the tricks are fundamentals.

uh, it's not an extended sonic rise... I don't know if this trick exists, but what you are doing is just a little linking.

Yeah i know, but i didn't mean that it was supposed to be a single trick, but the combo could be called Extended Sonic Rise, because its basically the same as a normal Sonic Rise but with Charges in it (Like Extended Infinity is just an Infinity with a Charge in the middle).

There is no name for the combo.
Same thing with Sonic 34 > Sonic 23 > Sonic 12, no name for the entire combo.

It's like a demented fan without the charge 13 and 24...

I think I have heard it called "rising fan" but I don't know if that is the official name.

The Rising Fans combo is:
Charge 34 > Sonic Clip 34-23 > Charge 23 > Sonic Clip 23-12 > Charge 12

It's the "beginner" version of Rising Fans.
Charge 34 -> Sonic 34-23 -> Charge 23 -> Sonic 23-12 -> Charge 12
A real Rising Fans is:
Charge 34 -> Sonic Clip 34-23 -> Charge 23 -> Sonic Clip 23-12 -> Charge 12
(Take a look at this
thread for tips/info on Sonic Clip)
EDIT: sketching beat me to it

When i saw "Extended Sonic Rise" I thought of Sonic 34-23 -> Sonic 23-12 -> Sonic 12-T1
RandomNewb - June 20, 2007 06:11 PM (GMT)
Agreed with Nexus.
How would one do such Sonic 12-T1? It is quite difficult. The most I can get is pressing T12 close together and Sonic Clipping T2 and releasing to T1. o_o Or doing Neosonic. Meh.

@RandomNewb: Just put your Thumb in line with the rest of your fingers...
Sonic 34 > Sonic 23 > Sonic 12

Dude.. isn't that a Sonic Rise?
Either you're super dumb, or I'm a fricken idiot... and I have a feeling its option 2 :lol:

Sonic Rise only involves 2 Sonics:
Adding the extra Sonic 12-T1 does not make it a new, named combo, it is just a Sonic Rise > Sonic 12-T1
TiNY - June 21, 2007 06:14 AM (GMT)
Gah I didn't clue in to that... I knew you'd kick my ass!!!
Hikari - June 25, 2007 12:33 AM (GMT)
Can i go a bit off topic for a second? To do the sonic 12-T1 do you just do a regular sonic then catch it in the thumb flap?
sketching - June 25, 2007 12:41 AM (GMT)
Yes, the pen bounces off the Thumb just like it does with the other fingers.

Cool thanks, and thats different from a sonic 12-12 cause thats now what known as a shadow right? (I'm sorry if this seems redundant, but I'm just making sure)
Eburt - June 25, 2007 12:50 AM (GMT)
shadow 12-12 has 1.5 rotations. a sonic 12-12 is impossible to do with only 1 rotation (though you could kinda call it a charge), Likewise sonic 12-T1 has 1.0 rotations.
