Title: Triangle Pass

Flip - June 25, 2007 10:07 PM (GMT)
Hey I filmed this a few minutes ago. I'd like to get up to 20 rotations in 10 seconds eventually.

The video has:
-12 Triangle passes (12 rotations) in 6 seconds
-9 Triangle Pass Reverses (9 rotations) in 7 seconds

EDIT: (for frisbee)

http://media.putfile.com/TrianglePass---Unmodded (unmodded rsvp)
-9 Triangle passes in 5 seconds

See what you think.

Flip, you own. We get it. But maybe Eso will have another thing to rant about.

SwiftBolt - June 25, 2007 11:25 PM (GMT)
Woooo Flip! Nice nice... Very pro =]

TiNY - June 26, 2007 12:25 AM (GMT)
Damn

Soooo jealous, first of all, your TPass normal is insanely fast.. Second of all, you actually did the reverse.. I thought the rev was pretty much impossible because everytime I do it i push the pen with my middle finger .5, reposition T and 1, then push with middle .5 again, weird how my fingers do it... I'm definitely going to learn it form that vid.. Thanks!

Eso - June 26, 2007 12:37 AM (GMT)
You must teach me how to do the Triangle Pass your way.

MikeN - June 26, 2007 02:55 AM (GMT)
That's amazing...

How long did it take to get it that fast?

Leviathan - June 26, 2007 03:04 AM (GMT)
Very awesome Flip. :thumb: You and bonkura make it look so good.

TiNY - June 26, 2007 04:06 AM (GMT)
But who's is better? I say flip hands down, truly masterful, so beautiful it brings tears to my eyes :emo:

ShoeMan - June 26, 2007 05:53 AM (GMT)
whoa flip thats awesome!

Bonkura can do triangle pass 123

pholord - June 26, 2007 06:02 AM (GMT)
Have you seen bonkura in world tournament round 2? He can do like a triangle pass fall. But i was greatly impressed by the speed of your triangle pass Flip. Keep it up!

frisbee - June 26, 2007 12:45 PM (GMT)
Flip, very nice, but I'm not very impressed considering the pen you used... how about doing it with the unmodded rsvp from your member title or the f-3000 in your sig?

Tainted Elements - June 26, 2007 04:00 PM (GMT)
putfile is being gay to me so i cant see the clip to its full entirety. but i saw enough to be amazed. that requires **** loads of dexterity to reach that speed. u took this trick to another lvl, i dont think anyone has tried to accomplish in awhile.

Hey frisbee, I filmed it with an unmodded RSVP for you.

http://media.putfile.com/TrianglePass---Unmodded

-9 Triangle passes in 5 seconds

So it was slightly slower than with the comssa, but not much. It's a little harder to get the spin started with the RSVP, but other than that, it feels about the same.

frisbee - June 26, 2007 09:23 PM (GMT)
Now i'm impressed, good job  I think triangle pass is a trick that is MUCH easier with a balanced & heavily weighted pen, so that's very impressive.

Flip baby, let's run away together!

 lol kidding, but have you ever tried doing a really short Triangle Pass in a combo, like say Twisted Sonic 23-1T -> Triangle Pass .5 -> TS... I think if you incorporate several really brief triangle passes here and there it would look really cool with the slight speed change...

Can you film a Triangle Pass combo for me? Like one with several TPasses throughout, short ones and longer ones, normals and reverses ^^.... Pweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeez :D

ellusion67 - June 27, 2007 08:59 AM (GMT)

DaThroat - June 27, 2007 12:32 PM (GMT)
