Title: Demons Spin
badura - July 5, 2007 06:38 PM (GMT)
how it work?
can someone give a breakdown or a video?
Eburt - July 5, 2007 06:40 PM (GMT)
http://s15.invisionfree.com/UCPSB/index.php?showtopic=3492read that, and use the thread listing at the top of the page next time.whoops, sorry... I read it wrong, we don't have a thread on this... but I don't really think it is even possible. Besides, just use hybrid notation.
Tainted Elements - July 5, 2007 06:52 PM (GMT)
i believe its possible. i just did it. could be absolutley wrong.
your refering to, demon sonic [1.0] ~> shadow 23 [1.0]
i think i got that wrong too, but is that what your talking about?
Eburt - July 5, 2007 07:01 PM (GMT)
Tainted, that would be Demon's Devil's Sonic 34-12.
Tainted Elements - July 5, 2007 07:15 PM (GMT)
E:i forgot to say that the shadow lands back in 23, in my notation.
xz64 - July 5, 2007 07:15 PM (GMT)
IIRC, a demon's spin is a demon's devil's sonic 34-23 (it actually goes 34-24-12-23)
sketching - July 5, 2007 07:54 PM (GMT)
It could be:
Sonic 34-23 ~ Passaround 23-12 ~ Shadow 12-34
Sonic 34-23 [p][s 0.5] ~ Passaround 23-12 [s 0.5] ~ Shadow 12-34 [s 0.5][c 0.5]
Just do a Demon's Sonic that gets cut off by a Shadow 12-34.
Tainted Elements - July 5, 2007 08:06 PM (GMT)
in lamence term, it would be a devils around that starts from 34, goes over 23,
and back into 34?
EDIT: my bad i got the wording all wrong.
sketching - July 5, 2007 08:16 PM (GMT)
@Tainted: No.
Maybe you're thinking of Twisted Sonic 34-12 ~ Shadow 12-34
That hybrid doesn't have a name.
Beng - July 5, 2007 08:25 PM (GMT)
im not sure but i think he mixes up words
there WAS a devils Spin
but acutally i never heard of a Demos Spin
afaik the Devils spin was a former notation for Devils around
OR just
Devils sonic 23-34 (Twisted sonic+Shadow 12-34)
frisbee - July 5, 2007 08:30 PM (GMT)
I think that sketching would be right, its like demon's devil's sonic but the spin falls back to 23...
Sfsr - July 5, 2007 08:32 PM (GMT)
frisbee: That would be Demon's Devil's Spin, not Demon's Spin.
Tainted Elements - July 5, 2007 08:39 PM (GMT)
so THEN it would be demon's devil's spin that lands in 34?

Yes, a Demon's Devil's Spin 34-34 (That goes 34-42-12-34).
gizzardsmack - July 5, 2007 09:20 PM (GMT)
you know... i think its a whole lot easier to just notate with hybrid notation.
the idea of a devils demons spin and mixing it up with a demons devils spin makes my head spin :D
sketching - July 5, 2007 09:21 PM (GMT)
Here are the basic Devil's, Demon's hybrids that officially have names, anything else is either a finger variation or a no-name hybrid:
Devil's Around 23 / Devil's Spin 23...
Twisted Sonic 23-12 ~ Shadow 12-23
Devil's Sonic 23...
Twisted Sonic 23-12 ~ Shadow 12-12
Demon's Sonic 34...
Sonic 34-23 ~ Passaround 23-12
Demon's Around 34 / Demon's Spin 34...
Sonic 34-23 ~ Passaround 23-12 ~ Shadow 12-23
but this would work too...
Sonic 34-23 ~ Passaround 23-12 ~ Shadow 12-34
Demon's Devil's Sonic 34...
Sonic 34-23 ~ Passaround 23-12 ~ Shadow 12-12
Devil's Shadow 12...
Shadow 12-23 ~ Passaround 23-12
----
What I call Passaround is supposed to be Pass Reverse, but I feel more comfortable saying Passaround based on how the pen moves in relation to the fingers. B)
frisbee - July 5, 2007 09:25 PM (GMT)
I would call it pass reverse, because the index finger acts to take the pen from the lower fingers. In passaround the push comes only from the lower fingers. This may differ based on who's performing the trick & how they do it, though...
sketching - July 5, 2007 09:34 PM (GMT)
Yeah, when I perform the tricks, the pen is not held between the fingers, it is bouncing around. Since it is not being held throughout the tricks, I call it Passaround.
