What are we doing with cards, line-ups and such? Just set and done or switching them around? Personally I think just set em and be done with it is much easier...

-Criterions weight (for judging system)-
Smoothness---15%
Execution--- 15%
Tempo--- 15%
Variety--- 15%
Innovativeness--- 15%
Difficulty--- 15%
Filming--- 10%

Transition Bonus +/- --- Not sure how this works, but i suggest that the judge picks the better transition, and that person gets 1 extra point.

As for scoring, I think your system is very unfair, when I judged the test match the +1 pt for transition was insanely unfair. Here, let me give you a "fair" version:

Smoothness: +/- x/3
Execution: +/- x/3
Tempo: +/- x/3
Variety: +/- x/3
Innovativeness: +/- x/3
Difficulty: +/- x/3
Transition: : +/- x/1

Note: Filming has been removed as its not really a fair category... its not someone's fault if they hve a shitty camera and can't afford a better one. They'll lose points in other areas if judges can't see the spinning anyway...

Lastly, I say no cards, unless you really insist. No one on our team has any experiance with them.

but is it me or is the deadline really november 1? cuz thats too far. it should be closer. And the battles are really complciated. WHy doesn't each group creat a collab, then the judges duged each ollab and the better one is the winner.

The reason its so far is because its so complicated... besides CTT was just formed, we need some time to get our act together :P

Why is the weighting for doubles and singles the same? You don't think the head-to-head match is more important?

Ok guys, no fighting now... as for the collab, why? Team battles were invented for, well... team battles! Collabs are entirely different and it would be impossible to judge it fairly... team battles have set criteria and rules. Not to mention its easier.

ok guys a few things:

Kasra-- stfu lol... its cool and all when its a joke or whatever, but 3 posts about it is a little over-the-top

Firebird-- The weighting is like that so you have to win 2/3 to get a victory, but the triple is sitll obviously more important.

Eburt-- I still suggest usage of cards, like you said, nobody has experience with them. I suggest you use this battle (and the long time before) to get aquanted with them so you can understand how to use them for future battles... but if you're really too lazy to learn them, then i guess cards aren't necissary.

Bojo-- I dunno... your repretation precedes you man.... i dont have a problem w/ it, as long as you're fair w/ your judgings... dont do what that one judge did to you...

Kasra again-- The battle hasnt even really started yet, it doesn't even start untill september .... thats why i didnt tell you guys about it yet, its still like 3 months away....

Kasra a third time-- collab isnt a smart idea, like eburt said, hard to judge fairly.. plus, why not use the format made specifically for team battles? Think about it this way, if you and I were to have a 1v1 battle, would we make collabs of like 5 clips of ourselves to do it?
