I hear that the secret is to look slightly to the right. If all goes well, there should be a second page waiting for you.

Edit: if you are already as far to right as you can go, then you most likely have to flip the page over, go to the top left corner of the new set of pages and start over again.

The first page of the book is always the verso. Looking to the right would do nothing. UED, you may want to start with some lighter reading first.


It's $22.50 CDN to pre-order HP7 at Amazon.ca, and they mail a $5 gift certificate a week later. But free shipping is only applicable to orders $39.00 and greater, so I would like to get another book or two to reach that amount. Any other good books I should consider?

UED if you haven't read the Very Hungry Caterpillar yet, my 6 year old cousin is really suggesting you read that book. It's very good.

I'm guessing Ron and Hermione have a special relationship. It is already pretty obvious in the earlier books.
As for deaths, I doubt Harry will be dying, because of the prophecy, unless, he got killed by the death eaters?

I'm going out on a limb and saying that Harry is a Horcux (or however you spell it) and that Voldemort didn't actually fail to kill him, but purposely made him a Horcux. Or at least I think that'd be interesting.

Ever read any of the Ender's Game series? Its great science fiction, so I would suggest it. Oh, and if you don't like Ender's Game, the second book (and the rest of the series) have a very different focus. You should give them a try. The Homecomming saga (first book is The Memory of Earth) is also great. Hell, anything by Orson Scott Card (the above books are all by Card).

One of my favorite light reads is His Dark Materials Trilogy :D.

I <3 Asimov series. The Foundation series and The Robot series were phenomenal.

-The only person of consequence to die is Voldemort.
-Epilogue cuts to 19 years after Voldemort dies, Harry is married to Ginny and they have three kids: James, Lily and Albus.
-Ron and Hermione get married, have a couple of kids
-Previously said that Snape becomes headmaster of Hogwarts, this has been disproved but its based on a line at the end of the book where Harry mentions that the next headmaster of Hogwarts was from Slytherin, so I assumed this was Snape but apparently it isn't....
-Dumbledore in fact arranged his death months in advance, so he wasn't murdered by Snape
-Neville becomes a professor at Hogwarts

Prophecy never works the way you think.

I read somewhere that Rowling had to change the plot and 2 of the main characters die instead of 1. Since I got a crush on Hermione I hope she doesn't die. But there is some problems with what are considered the main characters. Voldemort is pretty main too.

I'm also kinda sad since I'll have to wait 2 months until the book will be translated into Slovenian, as I'm not really motivated to read above 100 pages of English.

I searched around the house a bit and found the second book in english. Now I'm reading it and I think I maybe would be able to read the 7th one before they translate as long as I get my hands on one, or maybe I'll just wait for the movie /shrug
