Title: Flexible Fingers
Description: Tips and Ideas

Honesty I love to learn new tricks every time I find time but some tricks require your fingers to be very flexible. Examples are like moving your middle finger all the down or moving your ring finger all the way up. So I was wondering is there any ideas or tips to make your fingers more flexible so they be able to do the tricks that require more flexibility.
Besides practice <.<. Yes i know it requires that but i was wondering is there like warm-ups or routines u do that help with this

No
Here's what I do. Whenever I don't have my pen, I usually work on flexibility. What I do is just force my fingers into the position required for the trick, or past the required position. Then after a while I let them go, take a few second break, and see if I can independently move my fingers to the position. If I can't, I go as far as I can until I can't hold the position any longer.(usually my fingers tire out). Then I take a break. You don't want to place excessive amounts of strain on your fingers, cause you risk damaging them, I think, I just know it's bad for them lol. Then I just repeat the process, with pretty long intervals inbetween. Pretty soon(usually) you can independently place your fingers in the position you want :thumb: Keep doing this until you can do the trick anytime you want. Cause the next day you probably won't be as flexible, so you'll have to continue repeating the process till the movement is second nature.

whenever I'm not spinning an actual pen, I'm spinning an imaginary one. But that's just me :S

I think the best way to learn a trick you aren't flexible enough for is to do it over & over again, not exercise your hand... I couldn't do ringbak for the longest time but i just kept at it & my ring gained a lot of flexibility. You may need to get to a certain point, for example by trying to touch 1 & 3 before you learn sonic clip, but the most effective way once you get started is to just learn the trick by practice.
This applies to a lot of pen spinning, IMO. People look for the hidden secret to tricks but the true answer is always that you just need to practice your ass off until you get the trick down.

Warm your hands by washing dishes or something. then Bend your fingers down each by themselves to stretch them.
