To start off, i don't know for certain, but i think 103 by bonkura is probably the record for continuous fake double.

It says pass less rev meaning pass 12-t1 -> fingerless thumbaround reverse. And from the looks of it Im pretty sure he could have gone on as far as he wanted. 100 is just a nice number to stop at.

He calls it continuous pass to less rev, I guess japanese spinenrs consider neosonic 12-t1 to be a pass, because thats what it is...

-Does mantis or sunrise have a higher scissor spin, and does mantis hold any other records? I know he has a crazy shadow, i think 5.0 but im not sure.

not continuous but like, pick it up & do it again, & again, etc... I remember him posting about doing it in school one day.

during the podcast he said that he had a "backfall marathon" during school and got to 187

Most of the videos can be found on youtube, but if you can't find a video, just ask for one. There aren't videos of all the records I've edited into the first post, though.

as for most of these records..

i think you should split the categories in two. Ones done with a grip in the middle and ones done without one. Because honestly, old recrods were all set without a grip, and most people don't spin with that grip in the middle anyways. It'd be sad to see beautiful spins done with pens w/o grips to be just under credited.

That's a good idea, I'm sure grip enthusiasts won't like it but oh well. I'll do it later.

Clumsy holds the record for both ungripped & gripped palmspin with a thumbaround push anyway :P

I've added categories & the pens used to the original post. I've also marked where a record needs confirmation, but of course please help correct or add anything you can. As the list grows I'll keep adding more records & try to include video links.

Cloudy did 21 in a video, that's the most I've seen. It's in the cont. bak thread I think, or possibly the cont. baks 1.5. Pretty sure they were debating which one looked better and someone put up the 21 cont. baks record. However he put it in the middle of a combo and probably has done more before. Somebody from Pendolsa should be able to tell you.

WTF Chucko did 100 con. baks? He said his highest was twelve on a post on the beta testing stages of upsb 3. Vid please.

And 103 cont. fake doubles that's amazing. Taeryong did like 15 or something in a vid on Fratlym's blog but that's huge.

Yea give links to the ones you can. I know Eriror's bak falls werent recorded but others can be added. This way people can see it for themselves.

@Tim: I remember that video of cloud traveler now, i've seen it too; I'll add it as a record for now. As for chucko's 100 baks, it's based off of a post eriror made, he could be wrong but I think he's right. The most i've seen a video of is scelus doing 40 though; if this list becomes official in any way i think i would have to give the record to scelus without a video of chucko. As for 103 fake doubles, I got the video off of bonkura's yahoo briefcase page, I'll probably put it on youtube later so he doesnt get his site shut down for exceeding bandwidth. Gold does a lot of fake doubles at the start of his member vid too, probably more than taeryong did.

@strat: I'll start that soon, I'm lazy right now.. I'll either start tonight or wait til tomorrow & just do all of it at once

Regarding chucko's cont bak: is over a year old, while chucko doesn't spin much anymore & I wasn't around when he did, he still had plenty of time to master continuous bak. So, since i trust eriror when he said he did 100, I'm putting it on the list, but noting that there's no video & linking to the video of scelus doing 40. Without a video it wouldn't count for anything official, but my list isnt official :)

I believe it's in the PS Journal thread, that he said he did 100. He also told me via AIM. <_<
