Over the past couple weeks, I have been losing the urge to spin...I don't know why...I need some inspiration.

Does anyone else besides me have this problem besides me??
Any ideas to help??

If you don't want to spin, then don't. How hard could it be?

Go watch some videos and try to imitate a combo you like. (You can post in breakdown requests thread too.)

A good thing to do is learn a new trick. You'll have fun psing again once you learn it cause its fun to do new tricks, & you'll start to combo differently to include it, so itll kind of refresh your spinning

Just fucking stop. Find a girl, stalk her until she notices you, and knock boots. Im kinda feeling that too.

And yeah Im feeling like that too. But what keeps me going is the fun, and looking at a friend that pen spins and knowing that you can do better in your mind.

It's just as I said in that MSN convo you two. If we have this same convo in x months, there will be 3 spinners, not 6. People tend to not stick with it for long. I am yet to work out why exactly. If you don't get the urge to spin, then quitting is of course an option. Pen spinning is not for everyone. Then again, you may find if you quit, you miss it, in which case it is for you and I suggest you go back to it. The best inspiration I can suggest is to watch UPSB + PDS collab parts 1 and 2, Kam's video that is also on Superhandz and your favourite collab. Learning an easy trick you can't do may help you too.

I for myself often loose the urge to spin but i just keep going. Sometimes less sometimes more but i'll stick with the community for sure because i found some new friends thanks to ps and their are a lot of nice ppl in UCPSB so i stick here even if i dont spin.

Watch Asian Tims videos he makes me want to spin every time i see his vids.

for me, i find a bonkura combo and start adding all kinds of weird stuff to it until it no longer looks the same. :lol:

It's probably just the summer getting to you. Once school starts up I'm sure you'll get back into it. I'm having a semi-similar problem where I feel like I hit a ceiling in terms of ability because I no longer practice, but this should change with the coming of the school year as well.
