Im curious, who else wont be joining UPSB once it starts? I'll obviously be browsing there and stuff cuz thats where most of the collabs and news will be, but i dont plan to register or anything... ill stay here.... anyone else?

Agreed. But really, I will go where the people go. I was never on upsb but if everybody starts posting there & ucpsb becomes inactive of course i'll switch. I'll make an account there to trade anyway, even if ucpsb stays around.

If UPSB V3 is anything like UPSB V2, I'll be there, and chill there all the time. If not, I don't know what I'll do.

Well, since I'm barely even on here. I think I'll either just lurk or register and barely post when it comes to UPSB3.

I don't really understand... I would prefer this place to be dead actually. We should move on. Just like when UPSB2 closed and people move to UCPSB. It's just not very perfect if we have 2 main English forums...and UPSB3 is obviously better, since UCPSB is only meant to be temporarily anyway... Why would you not go to UPSB3?

But if people decides to stay here and keep this board alive, I'll be on both. :P

I don't see any point for UPSBv3 anymore. This board is fine. I'd much rather see a paid domain for UCPSB.

I'd go and stay for both. Who knows? Kam might suddenly close the board again and everyone will come crying back to ucpsb. So I would register, but I'd spend my time here on UCPSB.

well seeing how ucpsb was a replacement for upsb in the first place, ucpsb would most likely be deserted because both forums represent the same thing (at a high level)

UCPSB originally started out as a temporary board, but it's really grown a lot. We had our radio (for a short but awesome time) and now we have our sponsors and whatnot. A lot of nice stuff we will be leaving behind to go to UPSBv3

If worst comes to worst, what if UCPSB closes, then what about the jetpens sponsership thing we have going? Profeit would go to where? I'm sure that they have a few hundred if not more of each color RSVP's made and on stock. That'd be really gay to do to someone that's trying to help us out.

Is it just me or do newer boards, in general, have very noticeably less spam. UCPSB has had more and more mods, but even more spam. A UPSB would be a safe haven for a while, but by the time it happens UCPSB can easily be very different than it is now.

I'm not sure if he's talking about spam on a cumulative or percentage basis, but in the case of the former a newer board has fewer posts thus there is less spam.

In the case of the ratio of spam posts to total posts, etc., I think that's more dependent upon the type of members who join, not necessarily the size of the member list. Because more members results in more activity only up to a certain point before plateauing.

I would assume the sponsorship would move to UPSB V3.

A question though, how long have we been waiting? 'cause since the first day I picked up my magical spinning pen this was the only forum that hasn't been locked. I remember going on UPSB and every thread I tried to look at didn't work and I was just like, " :angryfire: :banghead: :pullhair: :help: WTF?!?!"
