for palmdown combos, shadows/sonicspins/infinities/demonsonics/charge are the best looking tricks

If you include most of them in a smooth combo, it should secure the win

Well. Both were nice videos. I prefered RandomNewb's, though, as Quota's wasn't completely palm-down. :lol:

I missed Shadows, though, RandomNewb. And where were the Twisted Sonic Busts?! :lol: No, seriously. Only passes and 1 NeoBak won't do much good. -_- Another nice thing to see would be a Twisted Sonic --> Ext. TA --> Shadow. ;) Try to work on it, both!

yah i gotta like perfect my vids but im not a perfectionist so i jus make one vid and get done wit it
i dont think randomnewb can do shadows well so...
nice infinitys though, cant do a smooth one wit a 3000*f so i didnt include any

A helpful hint: Make use of the opponents weaknesses! If he can't do a shadow, do it yourself! ;)

Whoa, nice combos. I liked them both: RandomNewb's infinities in there worked for me, and Quota's speed stayed the same throughout his combo. Very nice overall.

I don't know who did better though. Thank the gods I'm not a judge, otherwise this would be hard.

Both good combos but I liked Quota's better, it just seemed a bit more smoother.

Thumbaround makes you turn your wrist like in K4LC (Slight of Wrist > Thumbspin 1.5) therefore I'm not 'allowed' to do it. Same with Indexaround. I'll let Flashy win this one, I'm not gonna be playing ladder for a while anyway, so one match will be nice...

I like starting and ending the combo with the Infinities. With so many simple Passes, Sonics you didn't really take advantage of the palm-down theme.

Following the palm-down theme, I like the inclusion of Shadows, Neobaks and Sonics over 1.0 rotation, they look quite well palm-down. You had a wider range of tricks that were of a higer level compared to RandomNewb. You get my vote.

RandomNewb - On the criteria of time limit, you failed but so did your opponent. On the criteria of palm down, you did well, but you didn't manage to keep your fingerpasses and infinities down. Good opening sequence, but the ending sequence is a bit of a letdown. The video was very clear, but the hand was too high up.

Quota - Failed to respect time limit, the video was fairly clear but the hand goes off-screen. Good combo which manages to keep palm down all the way with some interesting transitions (0:07). You get the vote.

Apparently the empty blank video that Haduri leaves which is about 2-3 seconds means my video goes over the time limit...

That's the only thing that's really weird to me. :P As for the rest I already predicted I lost 100% when I saw Flashy's video when he gave it to me a few days ago.

no. The haduri logo lasts less than 2 seconds, which means your video is still 16 seconds long.

I don't mind the length of the video, it's just that if you specified "10-15 seconds" then you should probably respect your own rules.
