Well, my dad just passed away a few days ago....it sucks. :angry: But, I do get his new MacBook Pro! Wooo! I'm on it right now.

i'm sooo sorry. your dad died and your enjoying his macbook/ how can u do that? And it sucks? Shouldn't it more than suck that your dad died?

Yea!!!!! Free computer!!!!!!!! Yeah!!!!!!!! Although now there's no one to pay the bills, and the budget's gonna be tighter, and you gotta pay for the funeral, and your mom's gonna be mourning for awhile, and there's always gonna be an empty seat at the dinner table, and there's no one to go to to seek advice from, and you're gonna have to pay for your car by yourself, but all well, you got a computer!!!!!!!!!YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!

But anyway, I'm truly sorry for the loss, best wishes for your family.

There's no reason to be happy over getting a new computer, passed on from your dead family member. Grief > happiness.

Are you saying he can't be happy he got something because his dad died? Sorry, but sitting around being depressed/sad isn't going to do much. If you truly have control of your own environment and mind then why choose to be sad? It's not going to lead to anything. And maybe he just couldn't describe the pain he feels? Or maybe he didn't want to?

He died almost a week ago, but I have not announced it. I'm pretty much over it now. BTW: I hate to say this but, the life insurance policy was alot, so the funeral isn't a problem.

Just because I've moved on doesn't mean that I wasn't upset. I was devastated. I wish he was still with me, but I am glad that he is out of his pain. (He had cancer, spinal fractures, and one kidney).

My condolences dude. How old was he? And well, congrats on the computer.
