i haven't found any tutorials for these pens.. maybe you guys do..

Those are LED mods. "Light" refers to the weight on these boards. There also really isn't a need for a discussion on this as there is information posted by K4S and others as to how these are made. This is also the wrong section, it should be in the modding section. Next time search the forums instead of just YouTube :).

Button cell is the key to this. But it's kinda hard to find a good way to place all the stuff in it and still have a spinnable pen. It will be heavy for sure.

Dude, search around before you post a thread like this. Did you even see how old the comments were? 4 months. You think K4S would make pens as sweet as these and not post anything in UCPSB? "I'll just make a video in youtube and hope someone finds it" <_< ....christ....but as to how there made I'm not sure, probly gonna search for it later, like SA said. Also I'm pretty sure there are no tutorials, just hints and stuff on how to do it,like ShortAssassin said, so you'd probably have to be familiar with...um...circuitry(sp?) i guess. Sorry for being an ass, but come on man, use your common sense...

Yeah i know im a noob and i do lack common sense for most things.. i was prolly too excited cause the video i saw helped a concept for a mod i will be trying to do...

If there was a discussion on how to make these on the older board.. i do not have access to it since it is down. I don't see a tutorial here neither so yeah..

As to knowing who K4S is and what the mod terms are like LOL ive just started spinning last week so yeah

as for my common sense i dropped it somewhere when the hour hand struck 2:00 AM and that i am dead tired cause i haven't slept for 3 days (don't ask)

Nexus is the man, hes right. Button cell, But I dont think it'll be THAT heavy.

If we use SMT components it wouldnt make much of a difference. And the circuity is extremely easy :

-----[Battery 3v]----[22ohm resistor]-----[switch]-----[LED]------[GND]

Correct me on the resistor, I may be wrong with the value.
And no I did not read the entire thread.

I made this mod my second week into pen spinning so you have no excuses. :lol:

As i've said before, this mod is quite difficult to make (probably due to the fact that i had almost zero knowledge in real circuitry). It has been attempted and abandoned by many.
