Hey can someone recommend me a trick(s) to learn? I know most people would just say to browse the master tricks thread listing and pick one, but I dunno which to pick. I tried to learn the midbak but I jsut gave up on that lol. I just want whatever loooks eye-appealing (cool).

What tricks/minicombos can you do right now?

Did you learn the Demons/Devils/Shadow yet? If not, those would be pretty cool to learn.

Yes There is demons sonic, demons devil sonic, demons devils shadow so on. There are plenty of hybrids that use the demon and devil starting positions/tricks which have been given the name demon or devil.

I think he was joking about that fact that it's actually Demon's.

I can do most of those tricks and link them relatively easily. As for minicombos, whatever is linkable, I can do it (but I randomly mess up often).

Ps. Can you recommend me a combo too? (if it's not too much to ask) :P

If you havnt done that yet, then try to start learn index around... if you find it hard, then maybe try start just doing neosonic 12-thumbflap, then develope it into a rev ia... and then learn normal ia afterwards... when you have learned those you can go on to middle and then ring around normal and reverse...


a minicombo i like, that i think you should try out is backaround > rev fl ta... it is basicly just as hard as rev fl ta...

you don't find triangle pass cool? man thats sad.. i always thought it looked amazing if done properly.

i think at this point you should be making your own hybrids and stalking breakdown requests places.. if you haven't learnt TA ext and Bak ~ FL TA REV learn it then start messing around with your own stuff.. good luck :lol:

I guess I didn't think of it at the time. I know how to do FL Rev TA and TA Ext (though not perfectly smooth like a sonic).

To Siman: Backaround -> FL TA Rev sounds like a pro minicombo. Thanks for the advice. Seems kinda hard to link though.

Mingo I do Bak > FL TA Rev all the time in school. If we have any classes together this year just learn the mini combos I do since you mostly spin palm side and I mostly spin palm down. If we could combine our talents, we'd be a hella good spinner lol.

I like thumbspins -- it's gotta be my favorite trick. It's the best way to end a combo. It's flashy, difficult and makes you look pro.

A twisted sonic is a good way to start any minicombo.
