Ivy07 - August 15, 2007 11:12 AM (GMT)
Hi, i'm new here so im sorry if the question belongs any where else.

1st Q. I'm in england and i'm pretty sure you cant get the R.S.V.P here, and also there are alot of other pens that are not sold in here. (If i am wrong please tell me where you got them from. Thnx). Is there any mods that you can make with pens that are from England.

Hello, first I'd like to say welcome to the forum

I moved your topic here as here it belongs and also renamed it.

Here is a previous topic about the same subject so you can find some answers in here.

Ivy07 don't worry about Peace's comments, a lot of people make posts like this when they first join. Just try to do a little research first before you make a thread. It helps keep duplicate threads off the forums.

i'm a uk spinner and yup, there's no RSVPs. it's difficult to get the parts needed for the better known mods here so my first spinning pen was an AWFUL double capped zebra jimnie.
so you can have a go at creating your own mods (i'd be interested to hear if you make anything useful) but the UK does have a couple of things going for it:
a) we have HGGs (i've bought these in supermarkets like tescos but you can also find em in stationers of course) which other countries often struggle with. so you could trade. buy 4 HGGs swap 2 for a couple of RSVP from the US and you've got a couple of nice MXs (i'd also buy a couple of G2s and make MMXs/NX, personally - i like long pens)
B) everything in the uk is expensive compared to other countries (just look at the price of PS3s etc) so, in fact, it's far from expensive to buy pens from penwish.com or jetpens and get em shipped in. probably not far over the price of buying similar pens in the uk.
c) the pound is strong against the dollar atm. ^_^ see (B)

so, save up and buy a few things all at once, from the same site so you only pay shipping once, and you'll be set up for quite some time.
i'd suggest getting a few RSVPs, comssas, anyballs/profiles
