Title: Hand Not Good For Fingerpass?

methodsofbeyond - August 18, 2007 05:14 AM (GMT)
Yeah so it's really hard for me to lift up my ring finger (3) without barely moving my pinky. Is this like harder for me to learn sonic rise and fingerpass?

AzNwAr3oR - August 18, 2007 05:18 AM (GMT)
Thats natural you gotta do your finger exercises  But ring finger is 3 NOT 4 ur thinking piano BAD BAD lol.

methodsofbeyond - August 18, 2007 05:19 AM (GMT)
3 my bad.

but i can do it slightly better in my left hand, but im a righty.

Bobr - August 18, 2007 05:46 AM (GMT)
I think fingerpass is hardest trick for mastering. I spent 1.5 on this trick. Just practice.

@Bobr:
Psst... Fingerpass is a combo, not a trick. :P

@methodsofbeyond:
Don't worry too much about it, with consistent practice, your Fingerpass will get to a decent level soon enough.

Rev. Fingerpass seems to put more stress on your hands...when I used to do it alot, I couldn't move my hand the next day.

rodi - August 18, 2007 04:53 PM (GMT)
@Bobr: since its a series of passes its considered a "combo" though a lot of people refer to it as a fundamental "trick"

@methodsofbeyond: Ive been spinning for over 4 months now and i practice fingerpass everyday practically and mine still isn't nearly as good as most peoples you see, its all about repetitive practice

That's just weird man. :jawdrop:

Umm I dont see moving your pinky being something wrong. I do that. I just keep my pinky up when passing to my pinky.

I hate you. <_< My pinky is getting slightly more flexible...slightly

Just carry a pen with you and finger pass every free moment you have. It's what I did. I learned to charge in a couple of days doing that.

And sonic clips or tricks that use fingers 13 or 43 make your fingers flexible.

P0T4T0 - September 2, 2007 07:02 PM (GMT)
I think i remember someone (most likely kam) saying to improve finger coordination, u bend everyfinger at the second knukle and try not to move the other fingers

and for flexiility... crack ur knuckles^^ i do and my fingers are really flexible

Jotacon - September 3, 2007 04:17 AM (GMT)
I fingerpass when I do anything; watch a movie, eat, work, drive. My fingers still aren't that flexible, but I've been spinning for like...4 days?

Kam told you to crack your knuckles? I doubt that so much. Haha. If cracking your knuckles made your fingers more flexible I'd be able to bend my ring all the way to my shoulder.

Element - September 3, 2007 04:36 AM (GMT)
why don't you practice on bamboo
and gradually work up to a pen.

likes i doo.

Zombo - September 3, 2007 04:41 AM (GMT)
uhh...maybe cuz you've only spun for 4 days?

Jotacon - September 3, 2007 07:35 AM (GMT)
Yeah, I know why they aren't. Working on that B)

Vulkron - September 3, 2007 03:39 PM (GMT)
You just keep doing it and eventually you'll get it. Otherwise why can some people spin on the right hand and not left?

And if I can find a pic of my hand you'll feel dumb.

Pumphead - September 3, 2007 10:34 PM (GMT)
It helps too if you use a very light Pen, in this way your Fingerpass will get better faster...

noizaro - September 5, 2007 09:46 AM (GMT)
i have most of the passes down and smooth but the passes from 23 > 34 > 32. Any tips?

cluu1 - December 9, 2007 01:32 AM (GMT)
