Title: Left-hand Oddly Good At Pen Spinning

I've just started spinning with my left hand, a lot of tricks come very easily. I learned the sonic rise (it's very ugly), extended thumbaround, and thumbspin 1.5 in a single day...

Am I secretly left-handed? Or is this natural? I've always wondered if I was actually a left-hander.

(I'm just curious)

since you already know the concept of all of the tricks since you can do them with your main hand its easier to catch on with the left

i think most ppl can do a crappy anything with a few tries if they can with the right hand

muscle memory.

Muscle memory? ._.

Never heard of that before. The fingerpass is as hard as ever though.

Fingerpass you really need to develop your finger muscles for fine control... but tricks you can do with an easy push, the concept is very easy to transfer from hand to hand. You'll find you still need to train for charges & difficult fingerless tricks (easier ones like fl ta, bak & midbak probably will come easily still)

my left hand trick arsenal: Charge, TA, Flick Rev TA....... thats it..

i can do normal charge in all fingers, but cannot even pretend to do reverse charge. :banghead:

A trick I only know on one hand will typically take half as long or so to learn on the other hand. I guess you just have to transfer the already learned skill across your brain, rather than learn it from scratch, which helps.

There needs to be more 2h2p battles since learning tricks with the left is so easy.

I'm a 2p2h spinner and if you wanna, I can spin with you for battles and others. Contact me.

Learning tricks left handed is easy. Getting the fine motor control necessary to be smooth takes practice. That's why mats is so good at 1p2h, hes never actually done a combo in his life, just random strings of tricks linked by throwing the pen around :)

Perhaps learning tricks with the left is easy. Then you gotta re-learn the linkages too. Also, 2p2h requires significantly more effort, you gotta spin with both hands at the same time which often means you have to practice the combo in step by step.
