My team's doing a flash game, and I'm supposed to do the music and sound effects...anyone know of good and easy programs to use?

Zombo - August 27, 2007 02:31 PM (GMT)
in what format?

kensai - August 27, 2007 04:36 PM (GMT)
The usual like .wav, .aac and .aiff? I guess I can convert the files later if the program won't export them in the format I want.

Edit music: Adobe Audition
Great little program.

Get a Mac, use GarageBand. It's the only good use for them.

Computers don't have sexualities.

Queer, perhaps; gay, no.

try out FruityLoops (aka FL Studio), it's a program for making beats but it costs money.

Ah I see; I already have Cubase on the Mac so I guess non-MIDI.

@nateiskewl: Macs have a right-click these days, you just have to set the button. In fact, the Mighty Mouse can do more than a normal mouse for windows...

Anyways, thanks a lot for the recommendations guys! I'll be sure to check out all that software.

Fuityloops is actually free unless you want to save your files to work on them later. IF you are planning to create your files in single sessions, then it works for you. I downloaded fruity loops (trial version, meaning i can't save and work on it later) but for some reason the save function works for me. weird, but it is probably because i did not download it form the website, but as a torrent.

Fruity Loops is also relatively easy to use, but it can be extremely tedious to learn all the functions of the program, as there is just so much to learn.

If you plan on making orchestral pieces though, fruity is not the way to go.

lol, no shit... torrents are pirated.

Yeah, but the details were that it was a demo version...I was downloading as a torrent only because it was faster compared to the site download.

I only recently found out download accelerators exist -___-;
