Was this video a joke? A 45-50 sec intro and TWO minutes of credits? What the hell? I'm thinking the perfect length for an entire collab is perhaps 2:30 - 3mins, and that's just the intro/outro on this one!
The spinning, Fratleym's combo stood out from the rest for me. A lot of spam, a lot of BakFalls *pukes a bit*. Mix it up some Jesus! Anyone thought of doing Bak > RingBak > MiddleBak or perhaps making one of the Baks a Bak 1.5 or perhaps a NeoBakFall or ShadowFall instead if you must use falls, although I think we've seen enough falls to lay off them for a long time.
And yeah, 9 minutes, way too long, this is the first collab I nearly had to take a break in.

yeah its much too long . my favorites are tourneffaceur,outsider and fratleym. great to see romain in this collab and even like s777 too :)

good editing, but a bit too long. I don't think credits are appropriate in collabs with such length. However, there was the exact same problem with UCPSB 3rd..

My favorite combos were from romain and taeryong.

I like the music though, and i like how you guys added a new element of video editing to not only make the spinning match the music, but make their names pop out in sync too and etc.

Mats, try to be more positive...Try to make your post constructive, rather than just pointing out everything that was poorly done (and in an aggressive way) kindly inform them on what you believe was wrong about the video, and how they can improve.

Who watches credits anyway? :dunno:

pretty cool. felt a bit repetitive most of the time, but some combos were really cool and fast, but I didn't really went :o on any of them...exxceeptttttt.....Fratleym...
Jeez, too fucking awesome :( I knew it was him way before the name was out, just because of all the crazy linkage.

Well I have mixed feelings about this. Yes, it was probably a bit too long. However I can see why... all the combos were high caliber. I can't really see one you should cut. I liked a lot of them, but I'm not going to take the time right now to list em all. However, I find it amazing that I didn't get bored watching this. That says a lot for interesting combos and editting.

I really liked the editting though. Perhaps a little bit overdone with the clips of spinning in "bubbles" and in the "rain" at the end, but those are some of the few things you might be able to cut. The music, names and overall editting were great.

Good job guys! This is probably the only collab over 5 minutes I've ever really liked.

I didn't like the name introductions. Sometimes I didn't understand who the spinner is at all.

I don't like just this collab .
All Fpsb made so many pub for that .
We were all waiting for this because now the old french penspinners go out of fpsb .

But the editing is enormous, the musics are good, I don't hate them, but with the video, yes .

And for many combos we can't see good what the man do .

I didn't like the music to be honest. This collab had a lot of bad sides, more then good sides, but it's still nice.

116mb for 9 minutes = someone doesn't know how to use compression.
only reason it would be 116mb for 9 minutes would be if it's in full hd, and that's certainly not the case here, and would be useless even if it was, since i doubt many people in this collab actually have a camera capable of recording at hd quality.

I'm not really surprised of all the comments here, it's no problem to me...

But I wanted to say to the frenchies who don't often come here that UCPSB is like that, I dont care anymore to change this board spirit anymore...

Thanks for all the persons that have liked my combo, it's a bit weird to me because that combo is really poor against the other ones in that video but anyway...

I can pretty give you a lot of big collaborations like that who had far more introduction length...
I don't think this one is too long, yeah it's not short I know that but I dont think that you have the time to get bored because the introduction's editing is pretty well done (thanks to daft). if you dont like it, just go over it...

this collab was a big project, it had to be very well done even if you think it's too long, let me recall you that you told me about this big project you wanted to do Mats, do you think that this kinda project dont deserve a proper introduction... I like the expression^^ well, there's only two bakfall for 26 videos (Uki and Outsider) excuse I 've chosen the frenchies videos not the korean ones (I dont like bakfall either). The one from Taeryong is mixed with midbak 1.5 and the one from S777 is a bakfall 1.5...

I was amazed by this vids before you guy, I was even more amazed by PDS 1 st and it's still one of my favorite but I dont see the point to recall that every time, PS is PS...

This collab was my last project as video editor, I'm still thinking it's a nice ending to finish almost 2 years of my life as editor...

The collab, I actually enjoyed it ^^ The combos and effects were mixed up enough so that they didnt get bland or repetetive. The music was awesome too, that also helped make it more enjoyable, cause it was also switched up.

The spinning was insane, s777 really popped out to me with that bakfall 1.5, and tearyong was awesome. Too many spinners to remember them all though...

Mixed feelings.

The Spinning: Mostly awesome.

The Editing: I had high expectations because frat and Daft allready had superb stuff but the names sometimes were unreadable with that flowing noise thing.

The Music is just a matter of taste and in this case lets say no my taste.


Like they said before i feel the credits are a bit to long but who watches those mostly uninteressting stuff in it.

The song is ok. The credit is too long. the intro and the vids are long, but not boring. The spinnings are super. Fresh_gel is great. The guy after romain is great. Frat is great. I like the patterns that comes up with the names, but they're a bit too large and annoying. Man I prefer this over ppsm+thpsc anytime. Cool collab overall.

First of all, no. We don't hate the french pen spinners or anything. Nothing against PDS. It's not like if JEB or UCPSB itself put out a long collab, we wouldn't say it was too long/etc.

Yes i agree too many people try to copy and imitate/impress Mats, but not much of that in this thread.

I agree this was a good collab, i complimented the editing, because i knew it was well done.

Credits....I have always found them inappropriate. It will just make your collab look longer with no apparent use since nobody watches them.

Bottom line is...I liked the collab, but it was a bit too long. And don't make anymore of those retarded assumptions. You will only ignite unnecessary flame wars which will contribute to a relationship like PDS/JEB has.

You think it's the best collab ever made. Not everyone else does. I think the best collab ever made was SPSL 4th, but you don't see me getting angry because no one else thinks the same as I do.

If a collab or video is going to be uploaded on the internet, it is automatically subjected to criticism. Everybody should know this. Just because we don't like it as much as you do doesn't mean you should get angry and start accusing others of biased hatred and such.




This collab was pretty sweet. I wish the names and the artwork that came with the names was downsized. It took about up about 20% of the screen and it was a little distracting. I hate to admit it, but gollumsk8's combo was very Korean looking and it looked good. I liked Val's combo. s777 did awesome. Intro was great, but the credits went by slowly. The fuzzy noise effect is something new, but it made it hard to read the credits. But that's okay, because hardly anyone reads the credits. I only read it cause I wanted to know the music and software used. I like the first 3 music pieces, but the last segment of the video (not the credits) had some weird music. It didn't really fit.

No, it's not the best collab ever made. There is no way to ever state it as a fact. You believe it's the best collab ever made. I enjoyed the collab, watched it at least 10 times the last few days, but I don't think it's the best collab ever.

I feel sorry that you are offended by some of the comments on this topic, but you have to accept people have different opinions about things. We are not all French, we are used to different things, we have different styles. It hurts me to see UCPSB and FPSB fighting, because you both are boards which I enjoy reading and being part of. Just because some of the spinners here comment a big negatively on this collab doesn't mean the whole UCPSB does it, right? It are just a few of the more than 2000 members we have here!

Ephem, you're right. I was jealous because I'm not in the collab, and FPSB probably didn't enjoy the way I handled it. But just because I screwed things up there doesn't mean you guys have to reflect it over here. PS, I got a medical note stating the reason of my arrogancy. Not a good excuse, though.

I say, calm down, accept others' opinions and act back with just saying you like the parts others didn't like. Perhaps others will revise what they say, and everything will be a lot more peaceful. Gunnies, I still love you and the FPSB man, don't worry. :P

That said, I enjoyed the collab, it had its fair share of good and bad points, the good points mostly being the beautiful editing, music and spinners. My compliments to everyone involved! Thank you, Fratleym and DaftSystem for editing!
