Title: Time Until Next Trick?

AJ861 - September 4, 2007 03:31 AM (GMT)
Hello everyone! I am new to PSing, almost 3 days now. I've made a couple pens, RSVP v1, BICtory w/grips and another BICtory with signo tips. So far I'm feeling the BICtory with tips the best and have been practicing my TAs every chance I can.

My question so far is this; At what point should I move on to the next trick? Right now if I do 10 TA's in a row I can average about 8/10. They aren't beautiful but after 3 days I'm feelin more comfortable. So when should I move on to the next fundamental?

Thanks guys!

(I was going to post in the introduction section but my main point was the question.)

hello and welcome ^_^
anyways, you should move on to the next fundamental when you feel you have enough dexterity in your fingers to take on the next one.
but that's just my opinion.

this is a common learning order chart made by Kam.
it should help you during your pen spinning development.

whenever you feel like man..

From my personal experience, I would move onto the next trick whenever

a) I was bored enough of doing the same trick(s) over and over
B) I felt I was of decent level in all previously learned tricks
c) I saw a trick in a video and I desperately wanted to learn it

Usually, it was (a) for me. How you decide is up to you. Pen spinning has no set curriculum and there should never be one. Carve your own path.

It's quite nice here. :]

I suggest looking at pen spinning videos, finding a trick you think is just awesome, and working your way towards it.

Hehe, don't take the hardest trick tho

Or you'll be like « How the fuck am I suppose to do a Inverse sonic 13~>Korean Sonic T3-34 ? :pullhair: »

=D.

You should definately learn the bakfall next.

But forreals, it's totally up to the spinner [you]. Different PSers learn at a different way. If you like "arounds", then work on the around fam bam stuff.

Bakfall?

Webo is kidding, don't listen to him. I've been spinner much longer than a couple of days and I still can't bakfall very well at all. It's a pain to learn.
