seriously, Zune=Shit. Why, massive software failure, FAILURE of usage for Wifi..you can only send songs TEMPORARILY from zune to zune, no media connectiviity to your computer/360 unless hooked up to your computer. Also, Zune's=buying an automatic bricked device. i've had over 20 people send me their broken zune's and I cant fucken unbrick the damn thing. It's like the PSPx1000000000000000000000. no web browser on it either. Did i mention the Zune was A BRICK. The creative zens are oook. not bad as an alternative. but ya don't see them with a web browser with full 802.11b/g wi-fi. Honestly, the iPod touch is what we all want out of a device. the iPhone is everything we want out of a phone. WTF else ya need in it? plus the iPods are the only ones that you can boot up homebrew applications/games on. I've seen Linux on a Zune. it was like watching space invaders. iPodLinux FTW! and tell me, have any of these become 8mm thick with aluminum casings. point proven. i know your all gonna argue me on this. but you gotta be real here, if you won a contest and you had a choice of. A Zune or an iPodTouch. Would you honestly pick the zune?

Zombo - September 6, 2007 05:53 AM (GMT)
iPodTouch only has like 8 gig? If I buy a new mp3 player, it needs at least 120-160.

the only reason I'd pick iPodTouch is because you can sell it for a lot of money since those products are sooo overpriced.

I'll buy a few zunes off of ya.

Still need to find a screen for my Vision:M (black).

16 GB is definitely inadequate. The iPod touch is just a glorified PDA. Might as well get a PDA instead.

AlmightyMalachi - September 6, 2007 06:58 PM (GMT)
how many PDA's have iTunes on the go? or an actual web-browser than can load the plugins.? 16gigs, it's 8mm thin, if you want an iPod that can hold YOUR ENTIRE LIFE, get the classic then. but the touch is for the people who just want some music on there, videos, but still get functions out of the pda like apps.

neXus - September 6, 2007 07:43 PM (GMT)
I like them but ...

iTunes also "works" (lol) as a music organizer.

And not all of us want to break the law.

neXus - September 6, 2007 11:45 PM (GMT)
btw. does someone have like an article about US laws toward illegal downloading?

In germany nothing really happens to you when you get caught because over here a violation of the copyright is a delict not a crime (meh hard to find good translations), on the 1st time caugt you get a warning but your computer will be gone for probably 9 Month to always. Second time it's just money you have to pay.

What do you mean illegal downloading? Downloading child porn or things that you don't own that are licensed?

neXus - September 7, 2007 12:14 AM (GMT)
music / cinema movies / games / apps etc.

Childporn is a different league and doesnt really affect the copyright law.

Oh, well, first they take your computer to Guantanamo bay and viciously probe it (Can you say Electro-Astro Gel?). After that, you get a knock at your door where you are kidnapped by the NSA, strapped to a metal table and forcefed pineapple. They then carve out a largish wooden object that acts as a half shell, you're tied down on the beach with the object having openings at your arms, legs, and head. They paint you in honey and leave you there to be eaten from the insides out when parasites and bugs find their way to your bungholio. After all the torture you gently sail upwards, towards the giant Goatse in the sky with all the other downloaders, Kevin Mitnick's twin brother, the guy who was roommates with the guy who made Napster, and the creepy kid from 1st grade who cut off Barbie heads.

Don't drop the soap B)

Ipods rule

Had a zen and a zen micro. Both were shoddy hardware and ugly as all hell.

Though I wouldn't buy the new ipod nano videos. Only 8gb max isn't a lot

edit: and as for music downloading. Copyright laws are coming down hard as hell on pirated downloads. You can be fined $500-1000 dollars per illegal song

Eburt - September 7, 2007 01:19 AM (GMT)
@ neX

Actually, they recenty updated their policy. They basically sue you for about $100,000 no matter what you download (claiming, you could destribute it and therefore the potential damages are infinite - BS!) and then they settle the deal for about a $3000 fine, assuming its small ammount (maybe less that 100 songs?).

For larger amounts/distribution servers I'm sure its incredibly higher. Of course this is for music, games and other wares may be handled differently.

Zombo - September 7, 2007 01:43 AM (GMT)
ahaha in canada nothing happens.

If you own the CD, it's ok, though.
