Well, I have this assignment for English Club. We are organizing this contest, and I was assigned to get 3 questions about two subject. So yeah, I need phrases, sayings.

Anything that has to do with pronunciation, or Canadianisms are accepted. :)

- Which are popular Canadian phrases or sayings? What do they mean?

Thanks everyone. :).

Search for episodes of 'Chilly Beach' on YouTube. It's a cartoon that revolves around Canadian stereotypes and mannerisms.

Canadian English pronunciation follows the UK standard, except it's without the UK accent. For the most part, Canadians and (northern) Americans sound the same, except for certain words. E.g. we pronounce z as 'zed'. Then you get Canadians who use the US pronunciation anyway (but not for z; 'zed' is like 'eh?')

You're the guys who took English and created your own debased version of it, not us.

We use Zet, it's even better. In Frisian, the g is pronounced as gay.

zee

it sounds like it could run on forever, and seems less definitive.

Anyways, we have NUFF letters that have the EEE sound.
