hey just wondering but do you guys believe in "fake mods"
heres an example: im trying to make a mx but i dont have a hgg grip so i use an anyball grip instead... still considered a mx?

I think it honestly depends on what you've decided to modify\substitute... For example, in my any-x, I substituted the g2 section for a piece of another profile clicker. It still works, looks, and feels EXACTLY the same as if I had used the g2 section, so I think it's still an Any-X.
However, I also make HGR MXs (Before I found HGGs in my area - Woot! Yay for college bookstore : D) and I know those aren't MXs at all - different tips and grips. In your example, the MX with the profile grip wouldn't be an MX, because the mod you made is both visibly different and alters the mod's spinnability quite a bit.

It's not an MX, but it is a mod...just a mod without an official name.
BTW, you would know that many members here use alternative parts for pens if you read through the "Show Your Pens" thread and threads like:
RSVP MX Substitutes.

Nothing wrong with that. Just don't call them BICssa or DrKT. :)

or maybe call it Dr.KT fake.
No problem with fakes. There are country where you can't get Dr.Grip and Kts or SG.
