I'm much closer to my mom than my dad. I can get into arguments really easily with my dad. He's not an emotionally mature person like my mom is, meaning he can act like an asshole sometimes and not even realize it. He tends to think he's right all the time.

My mom on the other hand I can approach much more easily. Although she can get into bad moods as well and get really annoying. They both can be very nitpicky at times. Who wants to trade parents with me?

Mum though not really sure why. I argue with my dad more than with my mum as he is sort of a "complain and then do nothing about it" person, which I don't really like.

Consider yourself lucky my friend. I cant talk to any of my parents.
My mom doesnt like to talk about anything unless its very important to her. As in never laugh at a joke.
I dont talk to my dad, never have.

I'm really close to both of my parents, but I've had a history of having quite a few fights with my father years ago. I tend to talk to my mother before telling my father things, but I have no problem sharing anything that concerns me to both.

My current 'step-parents'... Well, as far as I know right now, are quite deceiving. =/
