Alright, so, basicly, I need to know how to crack XP passwords for "educational" purposes. :rolleyes: Something that I can run off of a USB drive would be nice...

You need 1 thing, Ophcrack live cd.
It cracked my password within 1 mins. Yeah, sure it was a simple alphanumeric pw.
EDIT: you can run it off a usb drive. just copy the iso files to the thumb drive and boot from there.
Or just download the standalone and grab a rainbow table. But wheres the fun in that?!
Great little program to have with you if your friend PW protects his PC just so you wont watch porn on it.
L0phcrack is an older cracker.
Ophcrack is the newer one.
