Hi, my name is Michael. I'm a 13 year old spinner from Maple Grove, Minnesota. Tell me if you live around here!
Not too much of a noob to pen spinning, but I am new to any message boards.
Been spinning since spring 2007.
I currently spin a pen about equal to an RSVP MX. Signo tip, G2 grip, two grips in the cap, anyball on the cap. I'm awaiting an order from PenWish.
I've created a couple different mods, I just dont really want to make tutorials for them lol
I have one large question about pen spinning:
When learning a trick, should I master it? Not just say I'm able to do it, but be able to do it on my first try whenever I want? I feel that I can do a wide variety of tricks, but I'm just horrible at freestyling and [smoothly] linking together combos longer than about 5 tricks. Anyone have any ideas why?
All posts/help is greatly appreciated!

Mastering a trick is very useful, but also very hard (depending on what trick it is). You probably won't get a trick like the basketball spin on your first try whenever you want, but you will probably get a high chance of doing it if you try to master it. If you don't do that trick for a while, you will lose your consistency in that trick. I have not heard of any pen spinners from Minnesota in UCPSB.
thank you!
i think i'll try to master all tricks now
so i guess AlmightyMalachi isnt from Minnesota? i saw he was the MN distributor for the Bic giveaway so i assumed he was from around here.

you should mostly master your tricks or atleast(for me)master your tricks to the extent you can do it maybe 20 times in a row, before learning other tricks...goodluck spinning!!!
