Title: Hello

Hello,

I'm new here, 28 years old and was born in Vienna, Austria, but currently (due to my job) I'm living in the Amsterdam in the Netherlands.

I have "started" penspinning about 14 years ago when my brother showed me the thumbaround and later the sonic (his best friend, a Korean, showed him), but back then we didn't know any names to any tricks and have never heard or even thought of modded pens. Back then we have only practised those two tricks but with more or less everything we put our hans on (drumsticks, pens, batteries, lighters, girlfriends lipstick etc..)

Eventually a little while later (when i finished highschool) i have stopped "playing around" (it was not more than that back then) until a friend sent me a penspinning-video a couple of weeks ago and i immediately knew that i could make good use of the boring time in the office by trying to "catch up" and starting to practise again.

Well, so here I am, without much more knowledge (yet), but i'm now looking into the different kinds of pen-mods so I can build one for a good fresh "start".

If anybody can help me out with tips or hints (except for the ones that are already posted here, which i am browsing through at the moment anyway), please let me know, i'm grateful for every help i get.

I have read http://z15.invisionfree.com/UCPSB/index.php?showtopic=9163 but i thought registering here might be helpful as well and www.UPSB.info is currently down.

cheers

:welcome: I commented in your UPSB thread, when did UPSB go down?

Hi here as well

The board was down (or at least not reachable for me) exactly when i wrote this introduction here.

It did work about 15 minutes later when i tried it again (and it has worked ever since) but i was just a little bit surprised in the very beginning that it wasn't reachable :)
