Pretty sweet. Looks like they have a non-retractable profile now, but I couldn't find them in black, red, and blue.

Cool. I just bought me a pack of 2 black ones. What are the profiles used for anyway?

chanman123 - April 20, 2006 11:50 PM (GMT)
Donk3y made a post about this, but not a thread

anyways

Can't find these, we only have the black blue and red.

The Papermate Profiles are exact replicas of Dong-A Anyball grip pens.

This pen is usually used for it's grips on commsas or as specter said, AMMX

Donk3y - April 20, 2006 11:54 PM (GMT)
yeah i did just post on it but whatever

profiles are way nicer

A: here in america for us americans
B: grippier then dong-a
C: now we have more colors!

i'll check around here to see if i can find any but im not sure yet, haven't been around.

I'll keep the thread up, easier to find the information.

I haven't seen any colors (beyond Black/Red/Blue) in stores around me yet, but I'll be keeping an eye out.

i use the papermate grips on my RSVP in lieu of the HGG grip. it holds an HGR tip on the front very nicely. i have one red, 2 black, and one blue

You do realize they're the exact same pens with the exact same grips right? Not one is gripper than the other.

As for the Profiles, it's sweet that they're offering mroe colours now, we might even be able to make some sweet mods with the non retractable ones.

nike t - April 21, 2006 09:05 PM (GMT)
Do the non retractable ones have the same grips, and what store did u find them at?

Eso - April 21, 2006 10:05 PM (GMT)
Hmm, it seems like they are releasing the new colors as well as the non-retractable ones out west. I've yet to see some in the east coast.

Did you get those at a Wal*Mart?

well maybe the profile grips stay grippier longer becuase im 100% possitive that after one day of having a dong a comssa in my pocket, and say an AMMX with profile grips, the profile grips are still nice and grippy while the anyballs are kinda dusty....

killsburydohboy - April 22, 2006 02:23 AM (GMT)
Maybe it was just your pockets, could be that the pockets with the dong a's had a lot of lint or something.

Donk3y - April 22, 2006 02:44 AM (GMT)
both in the same pocket.... and there were less of the dong a grips then profile grips
it just seems as if the grippiness rubs off...

i dunno why but it doesn't matter cuz profiles are what we can get here.!

Oh yeah, I forgot to say where I live and where I got these pens. I live in Illinois, USA, and I found these pens at walmart. The non-retractable profiles have the same grip as the retractables.

nike t - April 22, 2006 12:58 PM (GMT)
YAY!!!!!!!! now i got another question, how much were they?

Leviathan - April 22, 2006 05:03 PM (GMT)
Both packs cost 2.76 USD each.
