Yes, it's shaping up to be a pretty big gathering of canada supporters.

http://www.scallywags.net/contact.php

And since at one point the Ultras/U-Sector = the toronto Vs, i think it's only appropriate u-sector overuns the place.

TheRedGoesStraightToMyHead - July 3, 2009 01:19 PM (GMT)
Duke anyone?

Fort York Redcoat - July 3, 2009 03:01 PM (GMT)

I wont be there tonight, but Scallys has alwasys been my Canadian Soccer home for matches...

I remember about 20 of us watching the USA/Canada match on the top floor where we lost in penalties, great old time!

I prefer atdhe.net when i remember about it, it's cleaner to deal with.
but as a back up, maybe try rojadirecta.com

at rojadirecta.com there's usually some mexican feed, or spanish language US feed that gets taken up for any CONCACAF type of event.

How busy will it be, folks? What time are people turning up to get a seat? 7-ish?

I don't think it will be too crazy but I figure I'll turn up around then.

uggh .. Terry Vaughan sucks.

Maybe so but at least he's not Central American. Those guys get sucked in by every dive, every scream and every tear no matter how preposterous.

I'd rather have a Yank.

dbailey62 - July 4, 2009 12:35 AM (GMT)
That was way too close!

dbailey62 - July 4, 2009 12:37 AM (GMT)
Nice touch by Kevin in front of goal!

dbailey62 - July 4, 2009 12:39 AM (GMT)
A scary moment in the box but Vaughn seemed to get the non-PK call right.

ag futbol - July 4, 2009 12:59 AM (GMT)
That was a pretty terrible half of soccer imo (from both teams). Maybe the heat had something to do with it?

Can we find someone with at least a touch of creativity to play on the wing? De Jong and klukowski = nice back pass!

TFCAlberta - July 4, 2009 01:04 AM (GMT)
Jamaica were bad but I thought we did fine. Some very nice possession play. Hopefully we can get better in the last third.

We did better than I expected considering how many players weren't called up or didn't accept the invite.

I guess it is a reflection on our collective psyche but right now I'm just glad we're not losing.

Dobson just refered to Canada as Toronto. Look for V's board to go into instant meltdown.

And the internet feed stated Sutton's club was... Toronto as well :D

Donovan Ricketts with a fairly easy night so far, but not looking like an easy one will sneak by at this point...

dbailey62 - July 4, 2009 01:20 AM (GMT)
Big save from Sutts.

Yup. Now we know why Sutton always boots it down field instead of the quick throw. Cost us a game last year I seem to recall.

... and now a huge save by Sutts on a breakaway. Wow!
