I wasn't previously familiar with this fairly well written blog and while it's not new information for most of us it's nice to see outside recognition of the existence of Canadian football and the achievements of the 1986 side. I particularly like the optimism of the author's closing line

I've been recently speaking with some people who are preparing to shoot a feature length documentary about the 86 Canadian squad. Should be interesting, and I can't wait to eventually see it.

I always thought that the '86 event was worth documenting for our history. This is the first I have ever heard of any formal movement. I can't wait!

Nice find! A remarkably well-informed article on Canadian soccer considering it was written by someone in the UK (assuming it was, that is).
