You know what's really sad, demonstrating poor financial support for our soccer (related) programs?

That one of the (self proclaimed) stars of Canada's National Futsal Team is painting my basement, as we speak.

I know futsal is not 'huge' in Canada, but when you see a professional athlete painting your house, it kind of hurts to see..

I have a video of Brazil vs Canada from the Brazil Grand Prix a few years back. It is hard to come by Canadian futsal videos... too bad Canada lost this one 18-0 or something like that.

I have that same game. Actually all of the games from the Grand Priz I have if you wanna borrow them sometime. I may post them on futsalcanada.ca next week if I can get 'er going.

An interesting story from that game is that Falcao (the greatest futsal player on earth) scored only 1 goal on our keeper Roy Blanche. The goal was so damn cheeky though that Roy put it on his promo video. The message is
'I'm so good that Falcao scored on me.' lol
