The match, presented by Winners, will be Canada's first at home since reaching the quarter-final stage at last year's Women's Olympic Football Tournament. More importantly, it will mark new head coach Carolina Morace's home debut with the Canadian team.
Canada has one of the best women's soccer programs in the world. The team finished eighth last year at the Women's Olympic Football Tournament after reaching the quarter-final stage, coming within an extra-time goal of knocking off the number-one ranked USA.

Perhaps taking a page from the Impact O experience , ticket prices range from $15- $35 , STH window opens Mon Mar 9 , 10am

I planning to pre-order a bunch of tickets for this game in the supporters section.

Group price is going to be $10 + service charge (probably around $12 each)

I know women's football isn't everyone's cup of tea, but with Morace in charge now I think we could start to see something really worthwhile from the women. BMO will be packed full of girls screaming for their heroes. I have n doubt about that. But I would submit to everyone that a little ultras style cheering from the south end would go a long way to showing Toronto that our national teams are worth supporting.

If Dino's willing to buy a big batch I think the least we can do is get out there and do the thing that we do.

The women's friendly last year did well but I think that was mostly through the participation of soccer teams, clubs, etc rather than by getting out a big chunk of the TFC fanbase. That worked really well for them and from what I heard from the game and saw on tv the crowd was into it and the atmosphere was good.

I wouldn't expect to see as much of a vocal TFC supporter presence with this game being scheduled at the end of a stretch of nine home games in less than 50 days at BMO. You wish that these things could happen during quieter times although the realties of scheduling doesn't always make that possible.

I understand the challenges. But I'd still like to see a group of us get out there. Not to take away from the women's fan base, but to supplement it. Plus, 100 is a modest goal IMO.

I'm more interested in finding a good wingman to pick up a couple of those cute Japanese girls for when the game is done.

eh i'll probably be down for this. not my first choice for an intl @ BMO given all the screaming teenagers, but it's Canada nonetheless. last time i saw the women's nt was the friendly against Norway (?????) at Centennial quite a few years back. if they're playing a more attractive style these days under Morace then i'm all ears (eyes?).

You can be sure that the old Pellerud ways are out the window. Morace is bringing a lot of youth into the team. She's got a tough job in front of her but I'm confident she's going to get this program turned around and winning again.

The Japanese are going to be a tough test. They are very technical, very fast and always in fantastic shape so they pressure for 90 minutes.

Cicchini is not yet back with the WNT. I have no doubt they are going to want to look at her at some point and assess where her game is at. As for the afterparty, I hear she likes them.

I'm not sure of the exact price for each ticket but it's going to be about $13 each.

I'm not sure how I will organize ticket pick up quite yet. I'll let you all know soon.

My preference would be to get paid by EMT so I don't have to be carrying around wads of cash when I give you the tickets.
