Title: Transcript, February 26, 2008

Michelle - March 15, 2008 09:50 PM (GMT)
Ric: You okay now?

Marianna: Yeah.

Ric: Uh-huh?

Marianna: No.

Ric: No?

Marianna: Maybe.

Ric: Okay. Now that we've covered all the bases, I -- I can't let you off the hook here.

Marianna: You know, I just feel like I'm taking advantage of you.

Ric: Look, I took you out of a violent and untenable situation.

Marianna: You walked into an argument.

Ric: They call that "domestic violence" in the law, okay, Marianna? Your -- I don't know -- keeper, ex-keeper is lucky that he's not in jail.

Marianna: No, I'm lucky that I'm not being deported.

Ric: I'm working on that. I'm making a few phone calls, and before you know it, we'll have everything taken care of. You don't have to worry, all right?

[Knock on door]

Marianna: Should I go?

Ric: No, no, no, no, no, you -- you don't have to hide, okay? If it's my father, he's not welcome back in here, and if it's anybody else, it's about time that they knew about you.

Ric: Hey.

[Alexis giggles]

Alexis: Hi.

Ric: How are you, sweetheart?

Alexis: We got your message, but you didn't have to --

Marianna: Hello.

-------------

Marianna: Why don't I make us some coffee and cookies?

Ric: You -- you don't have to serve us.

Marianna: Given everything, it seems it's the least I can do.

Alexis: Okay -- uh -- thank you. I'll take mine with --

Marianna: Black, one sugar -- no, two.

Ric: Oh.

Alexis: How did you know that?

Ric: It's a gift.

Marianna: It's more like a quirk.

Ric: Mm-hmm.

Marianna: I'll be back.

Alexis: Come here, sweetie. Come sit down here, okay? There you go.

Ric: Hmm?

Alexis: So, uh, you sounded happy when you called --

Ric: Hmm.

Alexis: Lighter. Now I know why.

Ric: Well, I went off to sift through the wreckage of my childhood, and Marianna was just something that was unexpected.

Alexis: I think she's lovely. And I'm sorry about that mess, her immigration mess that the jerk left her with.

Ric: Yeah. I'm going to need some help from you -- changing her status here in the states. Yeah, I burned a few bridges, if you must know.

Alexis: You think?

Ric: Yeah.

Alexis: You think? Yeah, well -- so what are you going to do with that waterfront property that Skye gave you?

Ric: I haven't even signed the papers yet. Yes, yes, I know. The opportunity to hold at much power over Sonny and my father and anybody else I've got it in for -- how unlike me not to grab it.

Alexis: I think that sounds good -- whatever the reason.

Ric: You look tired -- no offense.

Alexis: I am, but you didn't need to come back.

Ric: Well, Jerry seemed to think so.

Alexis: Jerry called you?

Ric: Mm-hmm. He said that things were getting a little harried for you here.

Alexis: Well, they're evening out. Sam's out of the hospital --

Ric: Good.

Alexis: She's being annoyingly independent.

Ric: Huh -- like her mother.

[Alexis chuckles]

Ric: Sorry.

Alexis: It's okay.

[Ric chuckles]

Alexis: You know, it -- it turns out that Logan Hayes might be the text message killer.

Ric: You're kidding.

Alexis: We'll talk about it later.

Ric: Okay.

Alexis: Right now I'm concerned about Kristina -- who's not here. Where is she? Kristina?

Ric: Kristina? Honey?

Marianna: Looks like somebody was hungry after all, huh, baby? Hmm.
