Title: Campaign brainstorming
SoapQueen89 - February 13, 2008 12:23 AM (GMT)
Here are a few ideas that my creative brain came up with, please add your own. :D
I want to keep it simple, yet effective. Words of advice from an associate HW of a soap said that an eloquent letter will go further than 10 thousand boxes of mac & cheese. And I totally agree with him. So I don't want to go overboard with this, but want it to be effective.
-Sand Dollars

-Love letters in the Sand
Excerpt from Skid Row's I Remember You
Remember yesterday, walking hand in hand?
Love letters in the sand - I remember you
Through the sleepless nights, through every endless day
I wanna hear you say I remember you
We could write "love letters" from Ric to Marianna - something flirty and fun because they are that way with each other.
Now I'm thinking postcards and stationary for all of the above. Something simple, yet effective.
Thoughts? Suggestions?

Going with the footprints in the sand/beach idea here is stationary and a postcard
http://soapscorner.com/mvstationary.jpghttp://soapscorner.com/mvpostcard.jpgJust right click and save. These are image files so you'll have to use a program to add the image to a postcard or a letter template and then print. The front of the postcard was left open to you can write in your thoughts on Ric & Marianna.

I love it! And I agree -- we do not want to swamp the offices with a ton of the same items when we can send a few items that are just as effective. A well thought out letter, stating the good points about Ric & Marianna ONLY, speaks louder than us sending cases of alcohol. (Though we could get them drunk and brainwash them all...I digress.)
We really want to send mail to Rick Hearst and to Yeniffer. We want to welcome Yen to the show and let her know how happy we are with her performance. And we want Rick to know that this is a storyline we want for him.
Sending sand dollars is a cute and inexpensive token of our devotion to them. Anything to do with the beach, particularly the sand, is a great idea.

With the sand dollar idea, you can buy the basket and each time you send a letter, add one or two to your letter. You don't have to send the entire basket at one time.
